Just wanted to give a shout out to one of our regulars who has just finished of this amazing piece with acrylics and markers on canvas.

When he first joined us he was one of the many that stated he couldn't paint. But that's what it's all about, have a go, gain the skills along the way and get the confidence boost and reward later.
He put the time and effort in to have it turn out to be something he can be really proud of and it shows.

Thanks for joining us for opening day everyone!

It was so good to see some old faces and meet some new ones too.

Sausages were sizzled, awesome projects created and some good laughs. What a great day.

At 9am tomorrow (Monday 9th Dec) our beloved studio will reopen its doors!

Hey guys,

We have come to realise there is still some confusion about how the new craft space (Our Space) will work.

So to help out, this Thursday 5th Dec 11:30am-2:30pm we'll be at SCMB Disability Supports in our new space with some lovely air con for a morning tea/sign on day and to answer any questions you might have.

For a little fun we'll also have colouring pages, rocks to paint and Xmas card making materials for us to craft with at no charge.

It's no obligation of course but if you'd like to sign on, please bring along your NDIS details or support coordinator's contact details.

Cuppa and bickies provided, hope to see you there 😀.

OUR CRAFTSPACE LIVES ON!!!

From Monday December 9th, Craftspace and SCMB Disability Supports will go into collaboration to create Our Space 🤗💪😍!!!

With this opportunity, we will be able to recreate the space that we loved so much with just a few tweeks...

- We will still run a diverse range of art, suited to every ability of our participants.

-We will still offer a very "anyone is welcome" atmosphere, where people can feel comfortable and invited, no matter your situation.

- We will have supports in place (as identified in your intake) to introduce you to the space, assist you with your desired goals and help you feel right at home.

-We will be offering transport for those who require it for attendance.

-Due to the changes with NDIS guidelines, we will need to run our new space with a co-contribution. Meaning, each participant will need to contribute to the payment of art product use, each session they come along. We estimate this to be around $10 per session.

-We will run this model in conjunction with fundraising and grant applications to ensure that we deliver a service that is in line with what we previously upheld.

Proposed weekly time slots are..

Monday 9am-12pm, 12.30-3.30

Tuesday 9am-12pm, 12.30 -3.30

Wednesday 9am-12pm, 12.30-3.30

Thursday 9am-12pm, 12.30-3.30
