One of the greatest differences between mainstream medicine and natural medicine is the way we approach it. In natural medicine we treat holistically. We look for things that interlock, how emotions affect out health and treat the whole person. Mainstream medicine likes to treat individual issues, signs and symptoms and that means that sometimes connections are lost that can influence treatment plans. You can learn a lot more about a person in an hour than you can in 10 minutes.

I've had a sneaky grief morning. As part of the whole moving process I took my dad's old slides as well as a couple of visits tapes to be digitalised. Its only taken 10 years. Just handling them brought tears. Grief doesn't leave, we just accommodate it and occasionally we visit.

I've been quiet lately as I continue to pack up my house. Im working on the kitchen and finding all sorts of things I'd forgotten I had. Some things like my paella pan are hard to pack. Others, are not coming with because I have multiples of the same thing. Im thinking a really good spring clean is essential as you get older to w**d out the impulse buys and keep it simple. Hopefully this time I can follow through.
