Brothers And Sisters In Arms (BASIA) is growing, and weβre searching for a caring, reliable Youth Mentor to support children and teens in the Moreton Bay area.
If you have experience (or a strong interest) in supporting neurodivergent young people - whether through work, study, or lived experience - this could be the perfect role for you.

Your role may involve:
βοΈ Being a positive role model, like a big brother or sister
βοΈ Supporting morning/afternoon routines and transitions
βοΈ Encouraging independence and capacity building
βοΈ Providing person-centred and social support
βοΈ Keeping accurate notes and reports
βοΈ Travelling locally to provide in-home support
Weβre Looking For Someone Who:
π Has experience or a special interest in working with neurodivergent children and teens
π Brings patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
π Is reliable and flexible for morning or afternoon shifts
π Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Blue Card, Yellow Card, First Aid, CPR, and Police Check
π Has a valid driverβs licence and vehicle
π Certificate III in Individual Support is a bonus, but not a must have.
