We are watching the unfolding cyclone situation very closely.
Safety for our team & patients is our highest priority and we are preparing for possible practice closures on Thursday & Friday this week as/if the cyclone hits our shore. If you have a non-urgent appointment please consider moving it to the next week or so. We will advise patients on facebook & via SMS if we are forced to close.

The struggle is real! A few good tips below to help us all get through 😁

As we approach the end of the year, it's not uncommon to feel like you're running on empty. Whether you're juggling work, family, Christmas or everything in between, burnout is real — and it’s important to recognise when you’re reaching your limit.

Since burnout happens gradually, you might not notice symptoms immediately. But once it takes hold, it can affect your ability to function across all aspects of life.

Burnout goes beyond regular fatigue; it can make even the smallest tasks feel overwhelming and can make it difficult to handle day-to-day responsibilities.

While stress can be often unavoidable, burnout is preventable with the right self-care.

Here are a few tips to manage or prevent burnout:
❤️ Make enough time for restful sleep, aim for between 7-8 hours each night.
❤️ Spend time with loved ones, but don’t overdo it — alone time is important, too.
❤️ Try to get in some physical activity in each day.
❤️ Eat nutritious meals and stay hydrated.
❤️ Try meditation, journaling, or other mindfulness practices to relax.
