Wishlist is the Sunshine Coast and University Hospital (SCUH) charity organisation heavily involved in supplying much needed equipment for the hospital and also providing accommodation at Wishlist House, which so many of our families use.
This year they're supporting the Gynaecology department by aiming to raise money for Outpatient Hysteroscopy and also a Myosure device. These initiatives will make Hysteroscopy (examining the inside of the uterus) safer and easier and avoid needing an anaesthetic for many women. The Myosure will make removing polyps, fibroids or retained tissue found at Hysteroscopy safer and more effective.

Our new Boondall Mass Vaccination hub has opened today at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre 🤩 It will run daily from 8:30am - 6:30pm.

Our team can vaccinate up to 82 people every 5 minutes against COVID-19 at this new facility, so if you're yet to register for a booking, do so via the link in the comments.

Clinical Assets Nurse Manager Althea has been busy with the set-up for the centre, sourcing everything from PPE to pharmacy essentials required to run the large-scale operation.

"I've been working across the set up of all our vaccination hubs, but this is on the greatest scale yet," she said.

"It's genuinely a real pleasure to be a part of the innovation and set up of this centre to get to our goal of 1,500 vaccinations each day this week, with ability to ramp up further."
