NOW AVAILIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT

The doTERRA AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body; to aid in bringing the body back into balance from environmental factors such as stress, toxic insult, inflammation and autonomic imbalance. Essential oils are composed of tiny molecules that are small enough to penetrate the blood brain barrier, which to you means that using them actually produces healing behefits that many modern-day pharmaceuticals cannot. The human body contains 100 trillion cells. One drop of essential oil contains approximately 40 million trillion molecules. That's enough to cover every cell in our body with 40,000 molecules. It only takes one molecule of the right kind to open a receptor site for healing and alter cellular function. You can see why using even one drop or inhaling essential oil vapour can have a profound effect on your health. Using doTERRA's Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils with this application increases the benefits people experience in a profound way. Grounded in solid science and research, this technique is beneficial to anyone seeking to improve overall health and well-being, and provides another opportunity to emphasise the benefits of incorporating Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils in everyday living.

Summer Solstice ✨🌞✨
A moment of peak light, presence, and radiance

The Summer Solstice has just passed — the longest day of the year here in the Southern Hemisphere — when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and the light stretches to its fullest expression.

For centuries, this moment has been honoured across cultures as a turning point in the seasonal cycle. A see-saw of balance — where expansion reaches its peak, before the gentle inward turning begins.

In the yogic and ta***ic traditions, the Summer Solstice is considered to be a potent energetic portal — a magical passage in the year where we are flooded with high-vibrational solar light. This light is said to support healing, regeneration, and growth — illuminating not only the body, but the inner landscape — inviting us to deepen into our spiritual hearts with clarity, warmth, and presence.

It’s said that practices offered around the solstice help strengthen the Radiant Body — the field of confidence, coherence, and magnetism that surrounds us — inviting us to stand more fully in our light while remaining grounded and steady.

This week in class, we’ll be gently weaving these Summer Solstice themes through our practice. We’ll begin by taking a moment in meditation to connect inward and invoke the Divine Light Mantra, before moving into a practice that honours both expansion and integration:
🌞 honouring the fire and fullness of summer
🌿 softening excess heat and tension in the body
💛 opening the heart while supporting the nervous system
✨ reflecting on what has come to fruition — and what is ready to be released

A practice of expansion and integration. Light and grounding. Movement and deep rest.

You’re warmly invited to join us on the mat this week as we move, breathe, and settle into this powerful seasonal threshold with our own Sundara Ritual and blessing — allowing the body to receive, recalibrate, and realign with the rhythms of nature.

A gentle note for our community:
Wednesday morning class will not be running this week, as I’ll be with my mum through a sudden surgery. I’m grateful to be able to be by her side and offer my care and presence at this time. Your kind thoughts and blessings are warmly received 🤍

🌞 Welcome, Summer!!! Welcome back!!! 🌞

As the light continues to shine brighter and longer and the days getting increasingly warmer, Summer actually invites us to soften, open, and breathe a little deeper — and yet, as the year begins to close, this can feel surprisingly tricky, with busy schedules, emotional load, and end-of-year demands quietly building beneath the surface.

In Ayurveda, this season is ruled by Fire (Agni) — radiant, expansive, joyful… yet when life speeds up (especially in the lead-up to Christmas), that fire can easily tip into tension, irritability, and anxiety, often held in the shoulders, chest, neck, and upper back.

Our upcoming class is a cooling, nourishing heart-opener designed to gently release where stress so often collects in the body.
Through slow, supported postures and mindful breath, we shall create space across our shoulders, our heart centre, and upper spine. Along with our mindfulness and breath this will allow our nervous system to down-shift and the body to feel safe to open and be at ease again.

This class is not about pushing or stretching —
it’s about unwinding,
about letting the chest soften, the breath widen,
and the heart feeling held as the season becomes busier around us.

To support you beyond the mat, I’ve also shared our Ayurvedic Summer Tips Guide! — This offers simple, seasonal practices and tips to keep your body cool, your digestion steady, and your mind calm through the Summer months ahead.

✨ Our space is air-conditioned, all props supplied, super comfortable, and now beautifully refreshed (still working on that) — making way for a cool, calm sanctuary where you can rest, move, and breathe with ease.

I’d love to welcome you — whether you’re returning to the mat or stepping into the space for the very first time — as we move gently into the rest of Summer together.

🌿 REIKI FOR GRIEF | When the Heart Needs a Soft Place to Land

There is so much illness, loss, and unseen heartbreak moving through our world right now.
Families navigating sudden goodbyes.
Communities walking through shock.
Tender souls trying to breathe again after tragedy.

If you are grieving, please know this:
You do not have to carry the weight alone.
Your heart deserves gentleness.
Your nervous system deserves softness.
Your spirit deserves a place to rest.

This is where Reiki becomes a sanctuary — not a cure, not a bypass, but a soft, loving field where your system can unwind and remember how to be held.

Reiki can be profoundly supportive for someone in grief — not because it “fixes” or removes the pain, but because it creates a safe energetic space where the body, mind, and heart can begin to soften, integrate, and heal at their own pace.

Here’s how Reiki tends to support someone grieving, on multiple levels:

** Energetic & Emotional Support

Grief often creates a deep energetic constriction — around the chest, lungs, and heart — felt as heaviness or pressure.

Reiki gently reopens these channels, allowing suppressed emotion (tears, breath, sound, trembling, warmth) to move and release safely.

The calm, loving frequency of Reiki reconnects you to the deeper current beneath grief — the enduring love that remains even after loss.

** Nervous System Regulation

Grief can push the nervous system into a cycle of numbness → overwhelm → shutdown.
Reiki coaxes the system back toward parasympathetic balance — the state where healing happens.

Sessions often feel like being held by something bigger, something wise and kind, when you feel lost or alone.

** Spiritual & Soul-Level Integration

Reiki can help a grieving person sense their loved one’s energy in a more peaceful way — not gone, but shifted.
It can open intuitive awareness, dreams, or subtle signs that bring comfort.

It can help restore trust in life’s cycles — endings and beginnings, death and rebirth, and the quiet truth that love never disappears, it only changes form.

What makes a Reiki grief session with me feel extra gentle, intentional, and sacred:

💗 Crystals for the Heart

I use crystals that are traditionally known to support emotional healing:

Rose Quartz — for unconditional love, softening the ache, soothing heartbreak

Rhodonite — for grounding shock, stabilising emotions, and holding compassion

Placed over the heart, they help the body feel safe to help soften and open.

💗 Sacred Essential Oils

Before beginning, I place one drop of a heart-supportive essential oil on my palms — usually Rose, Cypress, or Frankincense.

Rose softens grief with its high, loving frequency

Cypress helps with transitions and emotional release

Frankincense brings spiritual grounding and connection

The scent creates an atmosphere of reverence, peace, and deep calm.

🌹 A Ritual of Grounding & Nourishing Afterwards

After the session, I offer a warm cup of tulsi, rose, or chamomile tea to help you return gently to your body.
You are welcome to sit quietly, breathe, cry, or simply be.

Many clients feel called to journal or rest afterwards — allowing insights, sensations, memories, or messages to settle into their heart in their own time.

🕊️ If you are grieving — whether your loss is fresh, complicated, or long-lived — Reiki offers a space where you don’t have to be strong. You don’t have to explain. You don’t have to hold yourself together.

You can simply lie down, breathe, and be held in a field of unconditional love.
Your heart does the rest.
Your soul knows the way home.

If you feel called to receive Reiki for grief, I am here — with gentleness, reverence, and with open hands.

💙 Blue Lotus Vidhi — A Ritual for These Vedic Times 💙

Beautiful Souls, as we close out the final breaths of Spring and gently cross the threshold into the radiance of Summer, the cosmos is offering us a rare moment of awakening.

These current Vedic astrology energies — the very frequencies you felt so deeply in our recent Blue Lotus class — are inviting us into clarity, softness, and soulful blooming. They whisper: Slow down. Ritualise. Receive. Awaken.

This is why I am so delighted to support and share the 'Blue Lotus Vidhi', a sacred ritual oil created by Holy Sanity, our beautiful Ayurvedic product supplier. It has become one of the most loved blends in our community.

💙 What the Blue Lotus Vidhi oil offers:

* a gentle third-eye opening

* a softening and steadying of the heart

* clarity as we leave the winds of Spring and enter the radiance of Summer

* a way to remember who you are beneath the noise

* a sacred moment to pause, anoint, and come home to your own light

Use it in your daily practice… before meditation… at your altar… or anytime the world feels a little loud.
One drop on the third eye, wrists, and heart — breathe, soften, and blossom.

✨ A thoughtful and sacred Christmas gift

If you’re looking for something meaningful, intentional, and aligned… this is the perfect offering.
A gift for the soul — for someone who loves ritual, or someone who needs it.

💙 A reminder from the Blue Lotus:
You rise from the depths. You bloom in your own timing. Your light is your vidhi.

Checking in after that massive storm yesterday… 🌧💨

To my beautiful yoga community – are you all ok?
I’ve been thinking of you and hoping you and your families are safe, with minimal damage or disruption.

I also wanted to let you know that I’ve had no phone service since Sunday and still don’t, so if you’ve tried to call or text and haven’t heard back, that’s why. 💛

For now, please contact me via WhatsApp if you need to reach me about sessions, classes, or anything at all. It’s the only thing working reliably at the moment.

Sending love and calm through the chaos,

✨ Blue Lotus — Rebirth, Awakening & the Journey of the Soul ✨

This week, we turn toward the Blue Lotus — the ancient symbol of awakening, rebirth, and the soul’s timeless journey toward self-realisation.

Across cultures, but most vividly in ancient Egypt, the blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) was revered as a flower of the sun and of the soul. It was said to open with the rising light and close again at sunset, embodying the eternal cycle of renewal. This daily unfurling made it a powerful symbol for the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth — the same inner cycle we meet again and again on our yoga mat. And its relevance in our season of Spring needs no connecting.

The lotus invites us to remember that we too rise from the mud.
We grow through density, emotion, the unconscious, and the unintegrated parts of ourselves… and yet we open — again and again — to light.

The Blue Lotus was often placed in tombs and sacred rites, a guide through the afterlife and a companion for the soul as it crossed thresholds. Some traditions even suggest it was used ceremonially for its psychoactive qualities — a way of softening the boundary between the physical and the divine, enhancing states of insight, communion, and deep presence.

But beyond myth or ritual, the lotus teaches the same lesson echoed in yoga:
✨ Your soul unfolds in layers.
Each petal is a realisation.
Each opening is a moment of truth.

A New Moon Invitation
As we enter the quiet, reflective energy of the New Moon, the Blue Lotus becomes an especially potent symbol.

The New Moon invites us inward — into darkness, into mystery, into the fertile soil of potential. It mirrors the closed bud before the bloom. It is the pause before the next chapter of light.

Just like the lotus rests in the depths before rising, this is a time to:
• sit with the heart
• acknowledge emotional truths
• honour what has shaped you
• release what no longer needs to be carried
• allow your inner petals to gently unfold
There is no forcing here. Only soft revelation.

The Lotus as a Map for Inner Healing
The petals of the lotus flower blossom one by one, each holding a lesson, a memory, a wisdom-gift earned through lived experience. Yoga honours this unfolding.
Your soul lessons are the petals.
Some are tender.
Some are fierce.
Some are ancient.
All belong.

On the mat, we meet them through breath, through sensation, through the subtle movements of fascia and energy. The meridians that run beneath the skin hold stories of the past — and when we stretch, breathe, and soften into them, the body releases what the mind is ready to understand.

This week in practice, we will move slowly and deliberately:
✨ exploring the meridian lines that tend to feel congested during times of emotional transition
✨ nourishing the spine
✨ opening the hips and inner thighs
✨ massaging the back-line meridians connected to held tension, kidneys, adrenals, and unspoken memories
Each posture becomes another petal opening.

As always, I am in awe of the alignment of the sacred — the way nature, myth, and the wisdom of the body weave together to guide us home to ourselves.

🌿 Late Spring Yin ~ The Flow of Renewal

As spring begins to soften into summer, we enter a sacred space of transition — a time to integrate the growth that’s already begun and to steady our energy before the next expansion.

This week’s Yin practice invites renewal that is both gentle and grounding — a return to the natural rhythm of flow in body, mind, and spirit.

Like the rain nourishing the earth, we’ll encourage the movement of fluids through deep tissues and organs, helping to release stagnancy and replenish vitality. This practice massages the inner thighs, lower back, and side body — awakening the river of life within and restoring our connection to the body’s innate intelligence.

Through stillness, we attune to the deeper current of the season — the quiet pulse of renewal that reminds us:
🌸 life continues to move,
🌿 new seeds are still growing,
☀️ and energy always finds its flow again.

We’ll close by grounding the light of this season into the heart — feeling the essence of renewal settle within as clarity, new promise, and peace.

Join us as we honour this late spring transition — to move fluidly, rest deeply, and return to flow.
