The doTERRA AromaTouch Technique is a clinical approach to applying essential oils along energy meridians and visceral contact points of the back and feet to help balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems of the body; to aid in bringing the body back into balance from environmental factors such as stress, toxic insult, inflammation and autonomic imbalance. Essential oils are composed of tiny molecules that are small enough to penetrate the blood brain barrier, which to you means that using them actually produces healing behefits that many modern-day pharmaceuticals cannot. The human body contains 100 trillion cells. One drop of essential oil contains approximately 40 million trillion molecules. That's enough to cover every cell in our body with 40,000 molecules. It only takes one molecule of the right kind to open a receptor site for healing and alter cellular function. You can see why using even one drop or inhaling essential oil vapour can have a profound effect on your health. Using doTERRA's Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils with this application increases the benefits people experience in a profound way. Grounded in solid science and research, this technique is beneficial to anyone seeking to improve overall health and well-being, and provides another opportunity to emphasise the benefits of incorporating Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils in everyday living.

Full Moon in Leo ✨🔥
A Moon of the Spiritual Heart

Under this Full Moon, the light is not asking us to perform —
it is asking us to remember who we are when we are fully lit from within.

The Moon ripens in Leo, the sign of the heart, courage, and sovereign expression.
Here, fire is not force — it is radiance.
Not ego — but inner authority that rises when we are connected to our truth.

From a Vedic lens, this lunation carries the essence of the solar lineage — ancestral fire, soul purpose, and the dignity of standing in your own seat. It is a time to honour what has shaped you,
and to consciously choose what you now carry forward.

Fire lives in the heart space now —
warming, clarifying, and illuminating.
This is the fire that digests old stories of diminishment
and transmutes them into presence, devotion, and creative life force.

The Full Moon always brings completion and revelation.
In Leo, it asks gently but clearly:

✨ Where have I dimmed my light to stay safe?
✨ Where am I ready to be seen — by myself first?
✨ What wants to be expressed from the heart, not the mind?

Let this Moon fill you, not with urgency,
but with confidence rooted in spirit.

Class Details:
Mon 5.30pm | Tues 6.00pm | Wed 9.30am

This offering is slow, nourishing, and held with care. (90-minute+ practice)

and allow this lunar fire to bless your becoming.

✨ Blue Lotus — a summer ritual for the senses ✨

There is something about summer that invites us to soften…
to slow down…
to open our palms and receive.

Lately I’ve been returning again and again to Blue Lotus — a plant long revered for its ability to calm the nervous system, soften the mind, and gently awaken intuition and the heart.

In ritual, I love to place a few drops into the palms,
rub the hands together,
and take one slow, intentional inhale.

Then a gentle anointing:
✨ the third eye — for clarity and inner vision
✨ the throat — for softened truth and expression
✨ the wrists — where our life-force pulses close to the surface

It’s simple.
Sensory.
Deeply settling.

Blue Lotus has been used for thousands of years as a symbol of rebirth and awakening — a reminder that even in the fullness of life, we can return to stillness.

If you’ve been craving a gentle summer ritual — something grounding, calming, and quietly luxurious — Blue Lotus oil is a beautiful place to begin.

🌿 Available now via my website.

Let this be your invitation to pause…
to breathe…
to open your palms and receive.

TWIST & SOOTHE 🌬️

After days of intense Queensland heat, many of us are feeling it — overheated, restless, inflamed, or simply done.
This week’s practice is a conscious response to the season we’re in.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, this is Pitta time — when heat, intensity, and internal fire naturally rise. When excess heat becomes trapped in the body, it can show up as digestive discomfort, irritability, fatigue, or that feeling of being “overcooked.”

Our focus this week is on slow, nourishing twists — not to wring ourselves out, but to cool and soothe from the inside out.

Twists gently guide the fluids of the body back toward the centre, supporting digestion, calming the nervous system, and helping excess heat disperse. By moving slowly and staying present, we invite the body to soften, release, and regulate rather than force or push.

This is a practice of unwinding, cooling, and restoring balance — allowing the body to exhale the heat it’s been holding and return to a steadier, calmer state.

✨ Tuesday 6.00pm | Wednesday 9.30am

🌿 All experience levels welcome
🧘‍♀️ All Props provided & Calming Airconditioned Space
💫 A slower, deeper practice with plenty of time to explore and settle (Options always offered)

✨ New Moon • Heart Healing Practice ✨

Yesterday’s Amavasya — the New Moon — occurred under the potent influence of Purva Ashadha and Uttara Ashadha Nakshatras. In Vedic astrology, these are the stars of spiritual victory, devotion, and inner truth. They invite us to release deep emotional patterns and embody intentional transformation as we begin a new lunar cycle.

🌑 Why This Matters:
New Moons (Amavasya) in Vedic tradition are powerful portals of inner cleansing. The Moon’s light disappears — symbolizing the perfect moment to turn inward, nourish the stillness, and clear old emotional energies before new growth begins.

🌿 Purva Ashadha Energy:
Known as “The Invincible Star,” this nakshatra encourages emotional courage — to face, feel, and free what no longer serves. It supports you to speak your truth with heart, to dedicate yourself to inner healing, and to stand tall even after heavy emotional experiences.

☀️ Uttara Ashadha Energy:
As the moon and sun conjoin into this nakshatra at the moment of the New Moon, the call is to manifest through steady intention and lasting resilience. This is a time to honour your past, celebrate your strength, and plant emotional intentions that are rooted in dharma — your soul’s purpose.

🧘‍♀️ This weeks Intention:
Use this heart-healing practice to:
• Connect with the deep emotional body — the map of what your physical body has carried and stored.
• Allow what wants to be felt to rise without resistance.
• Release what is ready to go with compassion and breath.
• Set soulful intentions in alignment with your truth and resilience.

💗 This practice offers you space — not just to feel, but to digest, integrate, and release the emotional patterns that are ready to transition. It is a ritual of emotional liberation and heart expansion, held within cosmic timing that supports your deepest healing and most grounded beginnings.

We’ll move through a slow, heart-centred Yin practice, guided by the New Moon energies — creating space to feel, soften, release and re-balance.

🕯️ A deeper 90-minute practice

🌿 An intimate, calm, air-conditioned space
💗 Come exactly as you are — no experience needed

Class times:
• Monday 5:30 pm
• Tuesday 6:00 pm

Bookings essential — spaces are intentionally limited to honour depth and presence.

May the stillness of the New Moon guide you deeper into your own heart — and may you rise with intention, strength, and love. 🌙💫

Shedding & Stillness — Yin for Renewal ✨
A Yin practice for deep rest & renewal

There are moments in the year when fatigue is not just personal — it’s collective.
A sense of weariness that sits deeper than sleep can reach, asking not to be pushed through, but listened to.

This week’s Yin practice is an offering for exactly that space.

As we stand in this January threshold — and at the very end of the Year of the Snake — many of us are feeling the final layers of old skin loosening. The last quiet shedding. The tender in-between where energy dips before it renews. Even in nature, the snake rests deeply during this phase, conserving life force while the body completes its transformation.

This class gently supports that same wisdom within you.

Through long-held, nourishing Yin postures, we softly stimulate the kidneys and adrenal glands — the energetic keepers of our vitality, resilience, and reserves. These systems govern our rhythms of activity and rest, and the delicate balance between fire (doing) and water (restoring).

When life — or the world — has felt intense for too long, the adrenals can stay switched on, bathing the body in stress hormones and keeping us in a subtle state of fight or flight. Over time, this drains our deeper reserves and leaves us feeling flat, scattered, or exhausted.

This practice is not about fixing —
it’s about replenishing.

We slow the body enough for the nervous system to soften.
We invite blood, lymph, and breath to nourish tired tissues.
We create space for the system to remember safety, rest, and quiet strength.

If you’ve been feeling tired in a way that rest alone hasn’t touched…
If you sense you’re at the edge of something new, but not quite ready to move forward…
This class is a place to pause, recharge, and gently restore.

✨ All props supplied
✨ Come exactly as you are
✨ A deeply supportive, grounding practice for this moment in time

I’d love to hold this space with you.

🌕 Clear the Heart, Keep the Essence
A Heart & Small Intestine Full Moon Practice

January continues to hold us at a threshold —
a space between what has been carried and what is ready to be released with clarity and care.

Although the Full Moon has already peaked, its energies remain present for these days that follow — continuing to illuminate what is ready to soften, clarify, and be gently let go.

This week’s practice is guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on the Heart and Small Intestine meridians — the organs that govern joy, discernment, emotional clarity, and our ability to separate what nourishes us from what does not.

In the language of the Small Intestine, discernment is an act of wisdom —
keeping the essence, and letting the rest go.

Through slow, mindful opening of the chest, shoulders, arms, and upper back, we’ll work along the Heart and Small Intestine meridian lines to:
• release emotional residue held in the heart space
• clear stagnation through the arm lines and upper back
• soften patterns of over-holding, over-processing, or emotional fatigue

This is not a practice of forcing release.
It is a practice of trusting what remains once clarity is restored.

As the Heart lightens, vitality returns naturally —
not only emotionally, but through the whole body, mind, and spirit.
Joy becomes less something to seek, and more something that quietly re-emerges.

A nourishing practice for those standing at the threshold of the year — ready to move forward with an open heart and a clear inner compass.

✨A Threshold Moment | Listening for the Year Ahead
(with Vedic Full Moon wisdom woven in) ✨

As we stand at the beginning of a new year, many of us find ourselves in a quieter space — a pause between what has been and what is becoming. A place where clarity is not forced, but revealed through slowing down and listening. I know this is where I always seem to resonate these days at this time of year and this YEAR is especially so.

Like me, you might also find yourself in a bit of a season of change or transition, It may be a time of listening to what is really being asked to be simplified, to be softened, valued, nourished, completed or released. I am really resonating here as well.

The natural rhythm of life reminds us that true beginnings align with the Earth’s cycles. In many wisdom traditions, the New Year is not really here yet — it is still waiting in the wings. And yet, we live inside the Gregorian calendar, and there is nothing wrong with meeting it gently. Overall, 2026 does carry significant cosmic conditions for healing, spiritual growth, knowledge, generosity, and self-sovereignty.

What if January became a threshold rather than a launch?
A time of reflection, rest, and quiet release. Rather than rushing to set intentions, consider a gentler approach.

✨ Anchor into a desired feeling, rather than a fixed goal. An unlimited vision of your heart's desire supporting you to lead the way.

Ask yourself what you need more of in your life right now — not how it should look, but how it should feel. For the next couple of weeks, allow yourself to explore and grow this feeling through lived experiences and reflections.

Let go of needing to define it perfectly.
Spend a little more time away from devices and constant input.
Allow space for silence, simplicity, clarity and love to bloom in their own way.

This week’s Vedic Full Moon supports exactly that.

The moon shines in Ardra, the “star of storms” — a lunar energy associated with purification, clarity, and release. Like a cleansing rain, Ardra clears what has been held beneath the surface, allowing truth and insight to emerge without force.

Aligned closely with expansive Jupiter, this full moon widens perspective and helps us see the bigger picture of the year ahead. It supports healing, cooperation, and a deeper honesty in relationships — with others, and with ourselves.

Rather than striving or pushing, this moon invites us to pause and listen.
To soften into stillness.
To let go of what no longer serves.

This is also a potent moment to notice patterns around love, energy, and self-worth, and to step back from unnecessary conflict or urgency. Keeping life simple, spacious, and grounded is deeply supportive right now.

So here is your gentle invitation for this first week of the year:

Let your goals be about letting go.
Rest deeply.
Clear inner space.
Allow the nervous system to feel held.

A simple embodiment practice can support this:

Set aside five to ten minutes.
Choose a place where your body feels supported.

Let your weight settle. Feel the surface beneath you holding your body.
Place one hand on your belly and one on your chest.
Let the breath move naturally.

Gently scan your body and ask — without needing answers:
What feels heavy?
What is ready to soften or release?
What feels supportive at this pace?

If something is ready to be placed down, imagine doing so.
Let your system register that it is safe to rest here.

When you’re ready, return slowly — perhaps writing down one word or phrase that reflects what this season is asking of you.

This practice can be returned to anytime January feels loud or demanding.

✨ There is plenty of time — and you are already enough. ✨

✨ Happy New Year, beautiful community ✨

As we step into this new year, my heart feels full of gratitude for 2025 — all the gifts, the many lessons, the opportunities and special moments.

Thank you especially for your presence, your trust, your practice, and the way you continue to show up for yourselves and this shared space. Community is a place where our practice can deepen - where we feel seen, supported and overall reminded that we do not walk this path alone. It is you that creates this community and I am honoured to hold space for you all.

Whether your attendance has been through Spinal Flow or on the mat at Sundara Yoga, this community has been a steady, grounding force for me— and that is never taken for granted. It is through regular practice that this space becomes a steady anchor for us all - a place where the body can learn safety, the nervous system can soften, and where real changes can unfold.

✨ 2026 Promises to bring ✨

From a numerology lens, this new year carries the energy of new cycles, momentum and conscious creation — a time to move forward with clarity, courage and heart.
In Chinese astrology, we’re moving toward Horse energy — symbolising freedom, vitality, forward motion and the courage to live in alignment with what feels true. It’s a reminder to keep moving… but to do so with purpose, not pressure.

From a Vedic perspective, this is a beautiful time to refine our dharma — our way of living in rhythm with nature, body and soul. Small, steady practices done with devotion create powerful change. Nervous system regulation, breath, awareness, rest — these are not extras, they are foundations.

As we enter this next chapter, my intention is simple:
✨ to continue to support your wellbeing
✨ to keep nurturing steadiness and resilience
✨ and to continue holding spaces where you can soften, reconnect and come home to yourself

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Here’s to a year of flow, freedom, grounded energy and quiet strength — together.

With love, gratitude, peace and kindness

Summer Solstice ✨🌞✨
A moment of peak light, presence, and radiance

The Summer Solstice has just passed — the longest day of the year here in the Southern Hemisphere — when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and the light stretches to its fullest expression.

For centuries, this moment has been honoured across cultures as a turning point in the seasonal cycle. A see-saw of balance — where expansion reaches its peak, before the gentle inward turning begins.

In the yogic and ta***ic traditions, the Summer Solstice is considered to be a potent energetic portal — a magical passage in the year where we are flooded with high-vibrational solar light. This light is said to support healing, regeneration, and growth — illuminating not only the body, but the inner landscape — inviting us to deepen into our spiritual hearts with clarity, warmth, and presence.

It’s said that practices offered around the solstice help strengthen the Radiant Body — the field of confidence, coherence, and magnetism that surrounds us — inviting us to stand more fully in our light while remaining grounded and steady.

This week in class, we’ll be gently weaving these Summer Solstice themes through our practice. We’ll begin by taking a moment in meditation to connect inward and invoke the Divine Light Mantra, before moving into a practice that honours both expansion and integration:
🌞 honouring the fire and fullness of summer
🌿 softening excess heat and tension in the body
💛 opening the heart while supporting the nervous system
✨ reflecting on what has come to fruition — and what is ready to be released

A practice of expansion and integration. Light and grounding. Movement and deep rest.

You’re warmly invited to join us on the mat this week as we move, breathe, and settle into this powerful seasonal threshold with our own Sundara Ritual and blessing — allowing the body to receive, recalibrate, and realign with the rhythms of nature.
