Established in 2021; Flourish In Life NQ is a disability support service co-owned by Lee Gates and Matthew Murray. We have combined experience of 21 years in the healthcare industry across both England and Cairns, Australia. Our vision is to provide the best service possible to the people that we support, by taking a person centred approach - enabling each individual to reach their full potential. Here at FIL NQ, we pride ourselves on offering a service with a difference. We do so by promoting an active, healthy, outdoor lifestyle and by encouraging people to get out into the community and to make the most of what Far North Queensland has to offer.

Flourish in Life NQ is seeking a qualified and passionate support worker to join our team in Cairns.

Requirements:
✅ Experience in the disability support industry
✅ All mandatory NDIS compliance requirements met (Worker Screening Check, NDIS Orientation Module, First Aid & CPR, etc.)
✅ Compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact
✅ Believes in an active, healthy lifestyle
✅ Takes initiative with tasks and works independently
✅ Excellent communication skills
✅ Aged between 25–40 years old ( Client Preferences )

⭐️🏎️🏉 Flourish in Life NQ Highlight 🏉🏎️⭐️

What a massive few days it's been! We kicked things off with a fun celebration at Kingpin Bowling for a couple of birthdays 🎳🎉

Friday was packed with excitement — starting at the NTI 500 for some high-speed action, and finishing the night with some adrenaline-pumping bull riding 🐂🔥

To wrap up the trip, we had a big group dinner prepared by the legend Scotty making spaghetti bolognese for everyone, we then headed to Country Bank Stadium to cheer on the Cowboys as they took on the in-form Bulldogs. While we didn’t get the win, the boys put in a solid effort and gave it their all 💪💙

It’s great to see him making choices that’ll set them up for a solid week of home-cooked meals. He’s also now super confident on how to use the self check out service, Proud of the effort — can’t wait to see what ends up on the plate! 👨‍🍳
