I haven’t shared much in the way of a bio/about me since I first started treating from home vs clinic spaces. In that time, I’ve obviously been meeting and treating more humans, gaining new followers etc. and I felt it might be nice to share a bit of an update since then.
I’ve been massaging for over 4 years now, after completing a Dip of Remedial Massage. In that time I feel so lucky to have had some great opportunities for learning and experience working with such a wide variety of people within clinical settings.
Treating at home now, enables me to focus more on the kinds of clients I’d like to work with most, as well as giving me a bit more of the work/life balance that I just didn’t feel was possible in a more clinical setting.
My interest of and for the human body, and more holistic modalities/approaches to health and well-being are what initially lead me to study massage. Along with some complimentary ideas I had for massage with some of my other areas of study.
I use a variety of remedial techniques and treatment options (including myofascial release and cupping) that are tailored to your unique needs each treatment, thus supporting you to feel and move your best. And if you just want to chill out and relax, I can help you with that too!
Outside of massage, I have a number of activities and interests, one of which is a style of Tribal Bellydance called Global Caravan Dance. It’s been an unexpected love of my life - having started classes ‘just for fun’ and having it turn out to be one of the things I’m most dedicated to in life! I also love being outside, in nature as often as I can manage, swimming in our lush swimming holes, exploring new places and hikes where I can also! 🌿💚🌿
Thanks as always for your support! Hope to see you in clinic soon - and if you have any questions about treatment options and bookings please reach out!
