Natural Fertility Services provides education to the general public, health care professionals, schools and families in fertility and sexuality awareness. About 1 in 6 couples have difficulty falling pregnant. Often this can be significantly helped by a little understanding. At Natural Fertility Services we have helped many couples achieve naturally, without any tests or major expense. If you are thinking of IVF or other fertility treatment in the future, try this first. In this day and age, when we are concerned about we are putting into our bodies, it makes sense to pursue more natural ways to manage our fertility as well. Contrary to popular belief, natural methods enjoy significantly high success rates at avoiding pregnancy. The sympto-thermal method has a 0.4% to 1.8% failure rate. The Pre-marriage Program offers you as a couple the opportunity to take the time to prepare for what will undoubtedly be the most important relationship of your lives. Our FLE program in schools is a sexualities and relationships education program, which extends from years 1 to 12. This program is grounded in a values framework, and has as its focus the healthy affective sexual maturation of the student and the supporting of family structures as the primary source of development in this matter. We believe it is the obligation and right of the parent to be the primary educator in matters of sexuality and relationships, and as such, all our sessions seek to foster the appreciation of this role of the parent. So what does values framework mean? Our FLE Program is delivered through a values framework, meaning, unlike other sexuality and relationship programs our primary goal is NOT health outcomes, but rather the healthy affective sexual maturation of the student. This means that the content of the program, while containing primarily biological, physiological and other health related information, is focussed on how the student integrates this content in their life choices and attitudes towards themselves, their family and other people. While health outcomes are not our primary focus, we believe that choices based on these values will necessarily inform better health outcomes.

PRE MARRIAGE: WHAT OUR COURSE CONTAINS -

This program contains three main elements:

1. A previously constructed marriage preparation resource entitled 10 Great Dates Before You Say “I Do”. (written by Arp, C., Arp, D., Brown, C., Brown, N (2003))
2. A personalised session on the Value of Marriage.
3. A personal session on Natural Family Planning.

The format of the book leads you through a chapter of reading on each topic, and then separately answering a set of questions in preparation for sharing and discussing them on your forthcoming date. The book also has suggestions on what sort of date you may like to go on and even where (if you may be short for ideas). It is recommended that you engage with a mentor couple; and, from time to time you meet informally with your mentor couple for coffee or dinner and discuss how you are going with them.

THE PRE-MARRIAGE PROGRAM
Courses are run on a per couple basis in order to be flexible enough to fit into peoples busy lives. It can be also run entirely online (if required).
