We’ve levelled up this time — partnering with First2Care Plan Managers to bring you a morning full of wellness, community, and connection.

👉 Join us on 16th October for a fun, inclusive, and accessible walk along the Cairns Esplanade — open to all abilities! We’ll finish up with a FREE BBQ to recharge. 🌭✨

Whether you roll, stroll, or walk, every step is about inclusion, wellness, and connection.

🔥 Someone turn the heat down! 🔥

The Enabling Pathways crew went above and beyond this past weekend to make sure the locals were well fed with plenty of hot, tasty snags 🌭.

Days like this really show off the amazing community we’ve built. Participants, support workers, family, and friends all rolling up their sleeves and volunteering their time to flip sausages in that classic FNQ heat ☀️.

If you’ve ever worked a Bunnings BBQ, you’ll know it’s no small mission, exhausting but so worth it! Every dollar raised goes straight back into our participants and the wider community through the EP Community Fundraiser. 💙

At Enabling Pathways, our incredible support workers love getting hands-on with participants, creating moments of fun, learning, and connection every single day. Together, we’re growing more than just veggies - we’re growing community. 🌸

What an incredible day! 🎄✨ A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our EP Care Christmas in July Party. It was a beautiful celebration of our amazing team, our supportive community partners, and the friendships we’ve built along the way. These are the moments that turn into lifelong memories. 💙

A huge shoutout to the wonderful crew at Marlin Coast Bowls Club for being so welcoming and generously volunteering their time to host us and show us the ropes on the green – you made the day extra special! 🥰👏

And of course, the legend himself – Steve from First 2 Care – who manned the BBQ like a pro. If you don’t know Steve, you should… he’s EP Care’s number one supporter! 🔥🌭

To everyone from the wider community who came along – thank you. To our incredible team of dedicated support workers – we couldn’t do it without you. And to our participants – you bring laughter, joy, and authenticity to everything we do here at EP Care. 💛

Meet Jonathan – Our Staff Recognition Award Winner! 🏆

We’re thrilled to celebrate Jonathan, who was voted by his colleagues as this year’s Staff Recognition Award winner!

Jonathan was recognised for his excellence, dedication to participants, willingness to go the extra mile, eagerness to learn, and the way he brings a smile to everything he does. His caring nature and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on both staff and participants.

A bit about Jonathan:
Originally from Indonesia, Jonathan moved to Australia with a background in creative design. He’s since transitioned into social work and discovered a real passion for helping others in the community.

Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys volunteering at his local church, spending time with his family, taking on DIY creative projects, and embracing Aussie culture – including cooking his first-ever BBQ, as seen in this photo!

Make sure to say hello and congratulate him when you see him around!
