A beautiful new season and a fresh week of yoga at SOL:

✨ Monday Slow Flow – 5:45pm
A gentle start to Spring! We’re breaking down Salute to the Sun and building towards the graceful peak pose Natarajasana (Dancer’s Pose).

✨ Tuesday Flow – 5:55pm
Continuing our journey into deep hip openers and bandha activation as we move towards Tolasana (Scale Pose).

✨ Tuesday Foundations – 7:05pm (NEW 4-week course)
Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to refresh their practice. Learn key poses, safe alignment for your body, and discover how yoga calms the nervous system, clears the mind, and supports better sleep. 🌙

✨ Thursday Yin and deep rest– 6:30pm
Breath of Spring Yin 🌬 Gentle chest, shoulder, and side-body openers to invite fresh energy in and release heaviness. With gentle sounds of crystal bowls during the relaxation for a deeply restorative midweek reset.

🌿 What’s On in Yoga This Week 🌿

Yesterday we wrapped up our 8-week meditation journey with tonglen — a beautiful practice of cultivating loving-kindness and compassion for ourselves and others. ✨

This week in Flow, we begin a new 4-week sequence. Building on the strength and stability from shoulder stand, we now add deep hip openers as we prepare to launch into Tolasana — exploring the balance of strength and lightness.

✨ Beginners: Tonight is the last week of our 8 week Course, where we bring everything together and explore dynamic sequencing. A new 4-week Yoga Foundations course begins next week — perfect if you’re just starting out or want to revisit the essentials.

✨ Yin (Thursday 6:30pm): A beautiful release for the legs and hips — targeting the fascia of inner and outer thighs, hamstrings, and quads.

Looking forward to seeing you on the mat this week:

Monday – Mindful Yoga & Meditation 5:55pm
After a gentle yoga flow, we will explore the Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice of Metta (Loving-Kindness Meditation). Cultivate compassion for yourself and others.

Tuesday – Flow 5:55pm
Our final week exploring our shoulderstand! Build confidence upside down, strengthen your core, and improve balance.

Beginners 7:05pm
Continue developing core strength, now adding twists to support healthy digestion and spinal mobility.

Thursday – Yin Yoga 6:30pm
Deep release for hips to shoulders. Slow, mindful stretches help unwind tension, restore energy, and finish bathed in resonate sound from crystal singing bowls.

Sunday 24th August – Mid-Year Reset 2:30-4:30pm
Join us at the Darts Hall, Manunda, to pause and reset your body, mind, and spirit mid-year. This restorative workshop combines Yin Yoga to release deep tension and reset the nervous system, a powerful Buddhist cleansing meditation to release what does not support you and a soothing sound bath to restore balance and harmony. Walk away feeling lighter, centered, and renewed, ready to move into the second half of the year with clarity and ease.
