It’s been a wet start to 2025 in FNQ. The heavens opened for our first day back at the clinic bringing beautiful rain but challenging travel conditions for our patients. Despite our soggy start we have had a wonderful week meeting both new and returning patients. Last night we farewelled our young colleagues at the public hospital and will see a changing of the guard over the weekend as we welcome new junior doctors to our hospital. I’m so excited for the year ahead and look forward to all it brings. Mx

I’ve heard it described as a love letter to Brisbane and this is its truest description.The story is magnificent but the way has captured Brisbane is the most heart-wrenching part of the entire book. To all my mates who lived, and continue to live in Brisbane, especially during the flood of January 2011, this book will break your heart. 💔
