Gathering as a community to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of women. The diversity and unity on display remind us all how vibrant and inclusive our city truly is. 🤝🌺

Redirection Care Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and culturally strong Torres Strait Islander and Pacific Islander aunties to join our growing team.

We deeply value culture, language, and community, and we are seeking women who bring that strength, wisdom, and warmth into their support work.

Shifts: Ongoing, consistent, and stable hours

Extensive Training Provided

We provide full, ongoing training to ensure both you and the participant feel confident, safe, and supported.

Training includes:
✔ 1 month of buddy shifts to help you feel confident and well-prepared
✔ Hoist operation and safe manual handling
✔ Behavioural support strategies
✔ Safety and wellbeing practices
✔ Culturally responsive care
✔ NDIS practice standards
✔ Responsive & available management team
✔ Medication awareness and training delivered by nursing team

📄 Requirements

• Torres Strait Islander or Pacific Islander background preferred
• Experience supporting participants with high physical and complex needs
• NDIS Worker Screening
• Police Check
• First Aid & CPR
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Culturally aware, safe, non-judgmental, and confident

Tearakau was one of 3 lucky winners to win a prize at 'Find our valentine & Win' last week Saturday at Earlville Shopping Town. Tearakau was excited that she won 1st prize 🎉 $100 gift card voucher and a Zarrafahs voucher. Yesterday she used her voucher towards getting her nails done 💅

Thank you Earlville Shopping Town for sharing the LOVE on Valentine's Day. Tearakau was still over the moon about her winnings when one of our Managers showed up to meet with her at Violet Nails in Earlville. Last week Friday, Cairns Quality Care and Redirection Care Services teamed up for an epic end-of-year company celebration. We had such an awesome time! The food was absolutely delicious 🍲 and the games, oh my goodness! Talk about competition extremists hahaha 🏆. It was so heartwarming to see everyone enjoying their time over food, drinks, and the best group of peeps to be working alongside. 🥳

This time last week, we gathered together to celebrate our amazing NDIS and Aged Care participants alongside Redirection Care Services. It was a truly lovely evening where we enjoyed dinner, took photos, and played games. We sang 🎤, we laughed 😂, we danced 💃, but most of all, we cherished each other's company 🤗.

This time last week Friday Cairns Quality Care was at the Brisbane Disability Expo. Our Team met face-to-face with service providers, support organisations, and community groups offering everything from assistive technology to inclusive housing, health services, and more.
The atmosphere was welcoming with live performances, activities, and entertainment designed for people of all abilities.

We surely enjoyed connecting with everyone!

Certificate IV Child & Youth Family Intervention (Studying towards)

🩶Current Driver’s Licence
💛Fully registered and roadworthy vehicle
🖤Current First Aid and CPR certification
