How to conquer dry skin 🤔

What causes dry skin? Everyone’s skin can lose water and get dehydrated. But *dry skin* is a skin condition where the complexion lacks oils and lipids and, ultimately, looks flakier.

Some things can contribute to it, including frequent baths, hot showers, age, vitamin deficiencies, medications, and skin conditions such as eczema or allergic contact dermatitis … and yes, cooler weather in winter when humidity is lower.

💦 Skin hydration tips. To reduce dryness, it’s a matter of hydrating and moisturizing your skin with specific products and lifestyle changes. For example, keep showers quick and cool to avoid hot water stripping your skin of oil. Apply hydrating lotions throughout the day –– especially on damp skin after a shower.
