Say hello to Hannah, one of our incredible support workers who brings warmth, wisdom, and a whole lot of Cairns spirit to everything she does. As a proud mum of four and a seasoned professional with over five years in disability and community support, Hannah knows that true care starts with listening, understanding, and empowering.

Her person-centred approach means every participant is seen, heard, and supported to chase their goals—whether that’s mastering daily living skills, exploring employment opportunities, or simply building confidence in their own unique way.

When she’s not making magic happen at work, you’ll find Hannah casting a line and catching fish with her kids, soaking up the outdoors, and living the values she brings to her role: independence, connection, and joy.

We’re lucky to have her on the team—and so are the lives she helps transform every day. 💙

Dear Friends of Ambitions NQ,

We wish to advise that our office will be closed on Monday 6th October 2025, due to the King’s Birthday Public Holiday.
We will be open again and back to normal hours from Tuesday 7th October.

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend, and the remainder of the school holidays. 😊

The goal is to remind everyone that a simple conversation can change a life, and people should feel empowered to ask "R U OK?" to those around them, rather than waiting for a specific day.

You don't need to be an expert; just be a good friend and a great listener x
