In Loving Memory of Chandra Pratap Charan: Born on the 26th of March, 1947 , he sadly passed away on the 24th of June, 2023.
I was asked to conduct the memorial service for Chandra on his daughter Sharonika's farm in Speewah, down by the creek. Chandra, a devout Hindu, was himself already in transit to Sydney where they would have a very large and detailed send off for him. Sharonika, Shil, Chandra's wife, and their son Shane, wanted to have a memorial service for the benefit of friends who would not be able to make the trip to Sydney.
The service and Eulogy were rich with Hindu references: readings and stories from the Baghavad Gita and powerful mantra's played during a Moment of Contemplation. A beautiful turn out, on a beautiful day, to say a final farewell to man whose goal was to be 'the best human he could'.
