Spirit of the Dragonfly is an independent Living Skills program where clients BBQ and raffle up to 4 days a week. The clients trade time for money and all the money is pooled into a bank account for the next upcoming cruise holiday. Clients are able to participate in the program regardless if they want to travel or not. It costs $15 for an individual to join the program each year. $200 deposit is required from all cruise recipients to ensure some commitment to the program. Clients are paired matched for their upcoming holiday and we strongly encourage clients have a support network around them which can include friends and/or family. Currently we are offering 14 premium sponsorships in Cairns for the upcoming cruise recipients as 14 are travelling from Cairns to Brisbane by plane, and boarding the Pacific Dawn on the 16th April, 2016. We strongly encourage businesses to get involved in our charitable work. For more information on sponsoring a client on the cruise please email thespiritofthedragonfly@gmail.com - 0405747711.
