Diwali ki shubhkamnayein (Happy Diwali).
Diwali is celebrated in South Asian Countries, including India, Nepal, Singapore and Fiji, with variations like the name "Tihar" in Nepal and "Hari Diwali" in Malaysia. Celebrations worldwide share common elements like lighting diyas (oil lamps) and fireworks, but local customs, traditions and celebrations can differ.
We are very lucky to have wonderful staff who are able to share their cultures and traditions with us.
Our residents were able to watch beautiful performances and even had a laugh at some of our frontline staff trying to learn.

A big thankyou to our staff who helped organise the event and for also sharing this special time with us. We are already excited for the next one!

Anzac Day 2025. A beautiful morning surrounded by residents and their families. This morning, along with Australians everywhere, we gathered to honour those who have served in the Australian Armed forces, those who continue to serve, and those who have lost their lives.
Thankyou to our wonderful families for joining us today, it really made the morning more special.
And thankyou to Shelley and the lifestyle team for helping the event run as well as it did.

We have had a big week celebrating different cultures. On Monday we celebrated St Patricks day with Happy hour and a fun sing-along with all of our residents.
Yesterday we spent the day celebrating Harmony day. The morning we had a visit from the children at butterflies early learning. They played games and painted hand prints to go on our Harmony day Board.
In the afternoon we had our lovely staff perform different dances and songs in front of our residents. It has been a fun and exciting week for us all.
