The best of both worlds 🙌 Hybrid training combines the endurance of conditioning with the power of strength for a full-body session that delivers it all.
 
Class Structure:
⚡️ Conditioning station: functional movements to build stamina and strength endurance
⚡️ Cardio station: push your aerobic capacity
⚡️ Strength station: compound lifts (low reps, heavier weights) to build raw strength and muscle
 
This efficient training style boosts endurance, builds strength, and delivers balanced fitness gains.

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, experienced fitness coach to join our team at The Ground.

We’re a high-energy, no-ego team that loves hard training and good people.

You’ll be leading functional group training sessions and helping build a strong, supportive community.

If you’re confident, positive, and love early mornings, this could be the perfect fit.

✅ Minimum Cert III in Fitness required
✅ Passion for helping others reach their goals, essential
✅ Casual role

4 x 8 minute conditioning stations designed to build you a serious engine. Think longer work periods, sustained effort, and a focus on pushing your aerobic capacity.

Have you tried one of our Thursday Strength Endurance classes yet? If not, here’s why it’s a Ground favourite ⬇️

These sessions are all about building muscle and strength endurance, helping you move heavier loads, for longer, with less fatigue.

Expect a challenging 30 minute WOD combining barbell work, gymnastics movements, functional exercises, and conditioning like running and skipping.

You’ll be coached through each step:
✔️ Warm up
✔️ Full workout brief + demos
✔️ Movement practice + weight selection

Whether you’re just starting out or already lifting heavy, these classes meet you where you’re at and help you level up.

The Ground Australia

The Ground is a large health and fitness facility like no other. We are a place of education, empowerment, community and growth; a place where people can move to nourish their body, mind and soul.

The Ground specialises in group fitness training, where you can have fun whilst you sweat with likeminded people. Through HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Strength & Conditioning styles of training, each workout is designed to improve your fitness, strength, speed, endurance, muscle tone, and burn fat.

The Refuel Ground is a Healthy Coffee & Smoothie Bar located at the front entrance.
