Established in 2006 with all services in one location required for womens health, including ultrasound and midwifery. Since 2006, Cairns Obstetrics and Gynaecology has been providing the only integrated Womens Health Service in the region. Services offered include Fertility, including full IVF treatment via QFG, Ultrasound, Obstetrics, Midwifery, CTG fetal monitoring services, Lactation support, Gynaecology, Mirena insertion with innovative local anaesthetic technique, Colposcopy, MonaLisa Touch laser vulval treatment as well as Vulval clinics with Vulvoscopy, we also have pathology services on site in pregnancy - so blood tests, urine and swabs can all be done under the one roof.
