I regularly get asked about probiotics and which brands offer the greatest health benefits. With so many options available it can be hard to know which one is right for you. Expensive doesn't always mean better and broad spectrum doesn't always result in better health outcomes. Often the best results come when you choose a probiotic strain that targets your unique needs. Check out our article to find out which probiotics are the most beneficial for you.https://purejoyproject.com.au/which-probiotic-is-right-for-you/.

I'm always telling my friends, family, and clients to drink more water (and no coffee doesn't count 😁). Getting enough pure water in our body every day is important for so many reasons! What does happiness mean to you? I love this little meme because it's talking about genuine happiness. This isn't the happiness we get from the people and things around us - that can be taken away or fade over time, it's the happiness we create within ourselves. How do you create happiness? The simplest way I know is to develop genuine love and compassion towards yourself, appreciate you for you and show gratitude for the wonderful talents you have been gifted with. When you are truly happy and full of joy your inner sunshine radiates outward and makes the world a brighter place for everyone. Happy Friday gang! PJP

We have finally started adding our Nutrition 101 series from Instagram to the purejoyproject.com.au website! Nutrition 101 looks at the different nutrients your body needs, how it uses them, what happens if you become deficient, and which foods to eat to get them from your diet. Remember food is medicine! Here is the first in the series - iron.

Iron is classified as a trace mineral but it plays a very important role in maintaining our health. Primarily found in the haem proteins of our red blood cells (erythrocytes) and muscle cells (myocytes) iron plays a key role in transporting oxygen to cells and organs. It is essential for the product...

Winter is almost here in our little patch of the world which got me thinking about new season produce. Eating seasonally means you get better tasting and more nutritious food because it's freshly harvested - YUM!. Here are some of our winter favourites with info on how they benefit your health

Winter has arrived and deliciously crunchy apples, zingy citrus fruits and vibrant dark leafy greens are in back in season.  Whether you’re growing your own or buying fresh from the local market nothing beats the taste of just harvested produce. ...
