Women with endometriosis often suffer in silence. It's difficult to get a diagnosis, with symptoms as common as intense pain during periods, or general pain in the pelvic area. With *1 in every 7 Australian woman affected yearly, someone you know (or even you yourself!) may unknowingly be at risk for endometriosis.

The Australian Department of Health and Aged Care is committed to raising funds for research on the disease, dissemination of awareness and education, as well as clinical management and care for those affected.

📱 Take advantage of tech by using apps or other digital tools to help track your habit
💊 Speak to your physician if it's advisable for you to take non-nicotine medication
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Get support from your friends and family, especially if they still partake of the habit
🏥 Seek help from your local community pharmacy by asking about smoking cessation programs or products. They may also advise you on what method may work best given your lifestyle
📞 Speak to an agent from the Queensland Quitline by calling (13 78 48). All calls are free and confidential, and can give you advice and information on quitting
