Our Story

Ocean Wave Medical (formerlyCurrimundi Medical Centre) is in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast and was established in 1990. Our experienced team of 5 female and 5 male Doctors are here to take care of all your medical needs offering a professional and high quality service in a personal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our Team can provide medical care for the whole family from newborn babies through to the elderly. Ocean Wave Medical is Accredited with GPA Plus.

Open 7 days a week. Monday to Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm and Saturday & Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm. New patients welcome. We are a mixed billing practice and provide bulk billing for children under 16 years, aged pensioners. HCC holders will be bulk billed from 2nd visit.

Onsite Allied Health: QML Pathology, Psychologist Cornelia Bam, Embody Physiotherapy, Flying Feet Podiatry, Custom Denture Clinic, Dusk Till Dawn Sleep Centre and Total Nutrition Dietetics.
