Camberwell Sports & Spinal Medicine is a clinic committed to providing quality healthcare in a relaxed environment. The primary focus of the practice is the total management of the injured person be it the treatment of muscular and joint injuries associated with sport, occupation or just plain living. We are a multi-disciplinary clinic with Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Remedial Massage, Podiatry, Myotherapy and Acupuncture practitioners allowing a flexible approach to treatment. A team of Health Professionals who recognise that the best results are achieved through accurate diagnosis, prompt treatment, appropriate rehabilitation and education about injury prevention. Our aim is to give you the power to manage your condition rather then relying on maintenance programs and regular visits. We are proud of our good reputation and maintain our commitment to the highest standards of care.

🌟 Introducing the final member of 2026… Prachi Mungi! 🌟

We’re so excited to welcome young cricketer Prachi Mungi to this year’s athlete sponsorship team! 🏏💛. The youngest ever member of teamCSSM.

Prachi first fell in love with the game at age five — backyard cricket with her dad quickly turned into some impressive hits (and the occasional broken appliance… oops 😅).

By 12, she was already holding her own in the Men’s Open Age comp as as the only female player, and last season she shone in the VMCU Under‑14 Julie Savage Shield. One highlight? Bowling a final over under huge pressure and taking a wicket with the last ball!

Now playing with Prahran Cricket Club, Prachi’s love for cricket runs deep — the history, the craft, the thrill of hearing the bails fly. Even after injuries, she’s back stronger and ready for a big year ahead.

🎉 We are rapt to introduce you to athlete number 2 - Welcome aboard Rohan Martin Ritchie! 🎉

Ultra‑marathon runner is gearing up for a massive year — balancing the demands of Year 12 and serving as School Captain at Box Hill High School, while clocking up to 150km a week on the run.

You may already be familiar with Rohan’s exploits. On his recent 18th birthday, Rohan completed an incredible 100km fundraising run for in support of youth mental health — a testament to his grit, generosity, and drive.

We love those that give back to their community, we also love people who do hard things. With more challenges on the horizon, we can’t wait to support Rohan as he continues to push boundaries and chase big goals in 2026 and beyond.

Each year, one of our most favourite things is to launch our sponsorship program.

is where our team supports a selection of local athletes to reach their goal - whatever it may be.

These athletes are from a variety of sports and have a range of abilities - not all of them are elite - but they do share one common characteristic. They share a passion and a commitment to challenging themselves in their chosen endeavour.

We were thrilled to have so many local athletes apply for the program in 2026. We wish we could have sponsored them all!

Farewelling Our Wonderful Myotherapist, Julia Meeuwissen ✨

This week, we say goodbye to someone who has brought exceptional care, warmth, and joy to Camberwell Sports & Spinal Medicine. After two years of dedicated service, our brilliant Myotherapist Julia Meeuwissen will be finishing up with us, with her final day this Thursday.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed during her time at CSSM. Please join us in wishing Julia every success and happiness in her next chapter.

I found it invaluable for keeping me injury free, which took my training and racing to another level, even managing a podium in my last race for the year. What I loved about CSSM in particular was that every member of staff felt invested in my journey, whether it be at reception, in the treatment room, or in the corridors, everyone would ask how my training was, and that came across in the level of their treatment too.”

In 2025 our athletes included - We loved following Misha through his triathlon journey in 2025 - all whilst he completed his final year of his medical degree.
