You might hear:

“Can you stop asking?”

But what they might be feeling is:
too much, too fast, and not sure how to explain it.

Sometimes it’s not defiance.
It’s overwhelm.

Asking for help isn’t always easy.
Sometimes it feels awkward, uncomfortable, or even overwhelming.

But you don’t have to have the “perfect words” to be supported.

Here are a few ways you can ask for help:
• “I’m not doing okay,can we talk?”
• “I could really use some support right now.”
• “I don’t know how to explain it, but I’m struggling.”
• “Can you just sit with me for a bit?”
• “I think I need help, I’m just not sure where to start.”

Whatever it looks like for you… it’s valid.

You deserve support, even if it feels hard to ask.
