This weekend we saw devastating bushfires take so much from our wonderful shire.
So many people have lost everything, and not a single person in our community has been left untouched — friends, family, neighbours, and the wider Harcourt community.
In the midst of this, it has been deeply moving to witness the strength and generosity of our town. Offers of help, care, time, goods, and support have flowed freely — a powerful reminder of who we are when it matters most.
This week, BSPT will remain open as usual.
Not because things are “normal”, but because shared spaces matter.
Routine matters.
Moving together, talking, sitting quietly, and simply being around others can all play a role in healing.
I am incredibly proud of our gym community. Our wonderful fitfam has always been about far more than training — it’s about kindness, connection, and showing up for one another.
This space exists for that, now more than ever.
We warmly welcome anyone in the wider community who would like to join us this week, in whatever way feels right for them.
Class fees this week will be donated to support local bushfire recovery.
If you have suggestions on where those funds would be best directed, I would love to hear them.
💛 HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Our friends at BoomTown are hosting a FREE lunch for everyone today from 1.30pm, with 100% of bar purchases donated to the Harcourt recovery.
