Your NDIS plan can be managed 3 different ways. Most people don't know which one they're on. 👇
A lot of NDIS participants get set up with a management type at their first planning meeting and never revisit it. But your management type affects who you can hire, how much admin you carry, and how much flexibility you actually have.
Here's a quick breakdown so you know exactly what each one means.
01. Plan Managed
A Plan Manager handles your invoices and pays your providers. You can use registered and non-registered providers, with no paperwork on your end.
02. NDIA Managed (Agency Managed)
The NDIA pays your providers directly through the portal. Straightforward and hands-off, with registered providers only.
03. Self Managed
You pay providers and claim reimbursements yourself. The most flexible option, and the most admin-heavy.
