Dr Gautam is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians having trained with the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, including extensive training in Paediatrics and Newborn Care. Dr Gautam is a dedicated paediatrician who is committed to the care and wellbeing of children of all ages. He enjoys partnering with parents and families to holistically care for the growth and development of
their children. Dr Gautam was a conjoint lecturer with Western Sydney University for the last 8 years having been a conjoint lecturer for the University of New South Wales for more than 9 years. Dr Gautam was previously a VMO at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and Staff Specialist Paediatrician at Campbelltown and Camden Hospital. Dr Gautam teaches and supervises Junior Medical Staff at all levels of Paediatric training. He is an examiner for the medical student exams, the Diploma of Child Health and the FRACP Clinical exam. Dr Gautam has special interest in premature babies, feeding difficulties in new born, tongue tie, epilepsy, rare genetics syndromes and diseases, Autism, ADHD, developmental delay, emotional and behavioural issues in children.
