We all need a helping hand at different times in our lives, this often comes from many different sources ... learn to ask for help when you need it.
A little bit about me
Because I have personally benefited from the therapies I’ve learnt, my belief in what is achievable is unwavering. This is the basis of what I choose to learn and add as part of my treatments.
I am continually rewarded by the people I meet and the many lessons they in turn offer me - it’s a never ending cycle of giving and receiving.
Your body (cells) react to your thoughts
All of our experiences (good or bad) become part of the program that our subconscious mind runs in the background (without our knowledge) these become our beliefs.
Your reactions (how you felt) are stored in your muscles - your hard drive, the memory storage unit.
Its not all bad - ‘Muscle Memory’ helped Lisa Curry-Kenny win gold in the 1992 commonwealth games after having a baby. She hadn’t competed since 1984. Sure she had to gain her fitness level, but the muscle memory of swimming never left her.
Muscle memory is evident in traumatic events and can be a contributing factor in anxiety, PTSD, depression, panic attacks and many other emotional disturbances.
Ultimately to create real change we need access the subconscious mind, and work on all levels - the physical body, the energetic body and the systems of the body.
I am a firm believer that deep relaxation is the tool that helps to facilitate the bodies natural capacity for self-regulation and healing.
So ultimately relaxation is the key in every one of my treatment sessions. By inducing a state of deep relaxation I can then give the body instruction (using different techniques) to ignite this self regulation.
I’d be happy to work with you, if you think I’m the right person either book an appointment or give me a call.
This is a very brief explanation, so please go to my website for more information on how I work.
With Luv,
Donna
