β€’ If you are someone who has a general fitness goal and is quite comfortable training on their own - PT might be considered a Luxury.

β€’ If you are someone who needs that extra motivation and accountability as well as guidance with a specific outcome in mind - you might find PT as a Necessity.

Personal Training might also be viewed as a Necessity for those who are new to exercise and need to learn safe and effective technique. Whereas someone who is more experienced but wants to take their training up a notch might view PT as a Luxury!

As mentioned at the start of the post, the answer is contextual, Personal Training can be both Luxury and a Necessity. It’s value is where you place it, based on your individual circumstances, goals and resources πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

There are so many different program templates, methods or systems that are out there.
The key for any effective program is to build it around the following:
β€’ The clients current abilities β˜‘οΈ
β€’ The clients dream outcome β˜‘οΈ
β€’ Choosing a correct stimulus for the client β˜‘οΈ
β€’ Correct application of progressive overload β˜‘οΈ
