It’s 2025 and we’re still using paper cards and stickers to track medicine costs. Automation is overdue. The technology exists, the policy just hasn’t caught up.

The Government is everywhere telling us medicine prices are going back to 2004, but they’re leaving the Safety Net in 2025.

In 2004 the PBS Safety net was 31 scripts or ($726.80). On 1 January it’s going to be over $1700 and 68-70 scripts unless the PBS Co-Pay legislation currently before the Parliament is changed.

would deliver a SafetyNet of $900 and make medicines affordable for high medicine users not just occasional users. The Government in its own Bill recognises the General Safety Net is no SafetyNet at all. They’re asking for our help to change it - so let’s tell them how to fix it. Sign the petition in our bio for
