The Theatre Lane carpark closure has made it harder for our clients — and for many Bailey’s Corner businesses — to stay afloat. What concerns me most is finding out that the “consultation” we expected was never actually required, and no formal report will be provided.

There are practical ways to keep part of the carpark open while construction continues, yet our questions about this remain unanswered.

Sharing this article because it reflects what our community is experiencing. I’ll keep pushing for proper consultation and real solutions.

Understanding the Human Condition

Learning about how we operate as human beings, our biases, the thoughts and compulsions we experience is fascinating. The better we can understand ourselves and others, the more suffering we can avoid... and when suffering is unavoidable, the better we can learn to sit with it (living with discomfort). When cultivating the art of being human, we need to be curious, thoughtful, open, patient and playfull. Looking forward to learning more about being :)
