Our Story

Mental Health Month is an annual event celebrated in over 100 countries in an effort to raise community awareness and understanding of mental illness, reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness, and promote positive mental health and wellbeing. Mental Health Month in the ACT runs throughout the month of October. Annual events happening during Mental Health Month include the Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo and Mental Health Month Awards Ceremony.
