Super Blue Moon Tomorrow (Monday 19/08/2024)

When a full moon fills the night sky with a heavenly glow, we naturally look up in admiration of its beauty. Not only does a full moon illuminate the earth below, it also illuminates spiritual aspects in our lives.

This Super Moon will appear about 30% brighter and 14% bigger as it will be at the closest point to the earth in its elliptical orbit, giving us a much better view of this exquisite crater-covered celestial satellite at a mere 363 711 and-a-bit kilometres away…

Although a “bluish haze” may be visible, the Super Blue Moon is the result of a rare combination of different cycles of blue and super moons, which happen to align on the calendar. According to NASA this rare celestial event will only occur again in 2037.

Q: How will we be affected by the energy of this Super Blue Moon?

A: Energetically everything feels very chaotic and messy at the moment thanks to Mercury in retrograde. (Mercury has a tendency to seriously mess with our mojo by bringing in confusion and miscommunication.)

This Super Blue Moon appears in the fixed Air sign of Aquarius. It may add to the current chaotic environment by leaving you feeling emotionally distant, cautious and reserved under this magical glow, but it will inspire you to set new healthy boundaries and to have those uncomfortable (but necessary!) conversations.

Strawberry Full Moon 21/22 June 2024

This full moon should not be mistaken for a Blood Moon because of its pinkish glow.

According to NASA, the name originated from Native American tribes such as the Algonquin, Ojibwe, Lakota and Dakota, referring to a specific seasonal time in which ripening strawberries and other fruits, were gathered.

This moon is also known as the Honey Moon, the Celtic Rose Moon and the Anglo-Saxon Mead Moon (The time for mowing the meads aka “meadows”)

Q: How will this energy affect us?
A: The Strawberry Moon appears in the sign of the hard-working and success-driven Capricorn. If you are ready to focus on what you truly want the most and you want to find a way to make it happen, this Full Moon will be the perfect starting point!
