Let’s go, Canberra!

After months of training, The Canberra Times Marathon Festival 2026 is here. Our team from The Canberra Physio Clinic will be there across the weekend, so come by, say hello, and chat to us about anything that’s been niggling or not quite right.

We’ll also have a special offer for runners, with a discount on a future appointment for those who visit us over the two days. Good luck to everyone taking part; we’ll be cheering you on. 🏃‍♂️

If you find you move less in winter, this is worth a read!

Two weeks to go until The Canberra Times Marathon Festival 2026! 🏃‍♂️

Your training is (mostly) done; now it’s about staying consistent, keeping things ticking over, and looking after any little niggles before race day. If something doesn’t feel quite right, don’t push through it. A quick check-in now can make all the difference on the day.

At the Canberra Physio Clinic, everything we do is built around helping you move well, recover properly, and stay doing what you enjoy. Our team works across three key areas, so you’re supported at every stage, from injury through to performance.

Physiotherapy: From acute injuries to long-term niggles, we treat the root cause and tailor your recovery, whether you’re returning to sport, managing a condition, or recovering from surgery.

Exercise Physiology: Where rehab meets strength. Personalised training, group classes, and targeted programs help you build strength, improve fitness, and move with confidence.

Remedial Massage: Hands-on support to reduce tension, improve mobility, and aid recovery, including deep tissue, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage.

Different disciplines, all helping you move better for longer.

Four weeks to go until The Canberra Times Marathon Festival 2026!

As your training ramps up, one of the most important things to remember is to increase your load gradually. Doing too much, too soon, is one of the most common causes of running injuries.

If you are feeling any niggles or want to make sure you are on track heading into race day, our team is here to help. Canberra Marathon runners can book a FREE 15-minute injury assessment with one of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists >> https://loom.ly/V7xX83M
