Crying is your baby’s first language. It’s how they tell you they need something—comfort, food, a cuddle, a change, or just your presence.

Crying is not a sign of failure or something to “fix.” It’s communication. And when you respond with calm, consistent care, your baby learns that the world is safe and that their feelings matter.

In IAIM classes, we don’t try to stop the crying—we help parents listen to it. You’ll learn to understand your baby’s cues and respond with loving touch, presence, and patience.

Sometimes, massage helps soothe a crying baby. Other times, it helps the parent stay grounded and connected, even when things feel overwhelming.

Crying can be hard. But you are not alone. IAIM classes offer support, information, and community—for you and your baby.

💧 Every tear is a message. Every touch is a response.

💭 Feeling the mental load of matrescence?

Maggie Dent highlights how the journey into motherhood brings a profound identity shift—“who I used to be” vs. “the Mother I am”—and comes with relentless mental juggling, social expectations, and over-caring that often lead to exhaustion and burnout.

Take‑home tips:

• Acknowledge the shift – Name matrescence and check in on your changing identity and needs.
• Set boundaries – Say no to “people‑pleasing” and save your energy for what truly matters.
• Share the load – Talk frankly with partners, friends, or fellow mums—when we open up, others can step in.

🤝 Our Keeping Mum Mothers Group is here to lighten that mental load—a safe space to share, connect, recharge and rediscover yourself during this powerful transition.

🚀 Unlock your child's potential with just 25 minutes of movement, three times a week!

A study revealed that kids in the GymbaROO UP program boosted their learning ability by nearly TWO YEARS in just 10 months—simply by replacing traditional literacy and numeracy sessions with sensory-rich movement classes.

The results? Enhanced focus, improved behaviour, better social skills, and a significant jump in neurological development. It's proof that active bodies lead to active minds.

🐾 When Do Babies Crawl? 🐾

Crawling is a significant milestone in your baby's development, typically occurring between 7 and 11 months. However, each baby develops at their own pace, and some may skip crawling altogether.

Signs Your Baby Might Be Ready to Crawl:

👉 Reaching out for objects just beyond their grasp.
👉 Rocking back and forth on hands and knees.
👉 Pushing up into a crawling position.
👉 Experimenting with shifting weight.

How to Encourage Crawling:

👉 Increase tummy time to build strength.
👉 Place toys slightly out of reach to motivate movement.
👉 Provide plenty of floor time for exploration.
👉 Demonstrate crawling to encourage imitation.

Remember, every baby is unique. If you have concerns about your baby's development, consult with a healthcare professional. For more detailed information, check out the full article here: https://www.gymbaroo.com.au/articles/when-do-babies-crawl/
