Today marks the beginning of Reconciliation Week. 🖤💛❤️

The theme for 2026 is 'All In', "a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport, and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change." (Reconciliation Australia, 2026) 💬

This , Axis Supports pays tribute to all who have served our nation. If you can, we encourage you to attend an ANZAC Day service, wear a sprig of rosemary, and consider donating to the ANZAC Appeal, which supports veterans and their families.

Our Canberra and Sydney offices will be closed on Monday 27 April for the Anzac Day public holiday and will reopen from 28 April as usual. Our on-call services remain operating for our staff and clients.

Swipe 📲 for a yummy ANZAC biscuit recipe you can make this weekend, thanks to for providing free ANZAC resources. 🍪

On Monday, April 13, we recognised Auslan (Australian Sign Language) Day🤚.

April 13 marks a defining moment in Australia’s linguistic history—the publication of the first Auslan dictionary in 1989.

💬 This milestone gave the Australian Deaf community a name for their language and formally recognised its unique visual‑gestural grammar. Auslan is not simply a system of communication. It is a complete language, developed over generations, carrying identity, culture, and connection within the Deaf community. While its recognition as a community language in 1991 was a significant step forward, the work of ensuring access and understanding continues. — Deafness Forum Australia, 2026.

The team tried their hand at some Auslan finger-spelling to let our community know: We Know Care🫶
