The rain has drifted in today but we ve been enjoying some WONDERFUL days out at the clinic and paddocks ☀️ 🌲 🍃 🌈 as we head towards the end of term 1 the beautiful serene environment of our new setting has been amazing for nervous systems everywhere 🤩 a final push to head towards the Easter hols 🐣

“It is a happy talent to know how to play” Ralph Waldo Emerson 🦋 OT s use play (and subsequently all our favourite childhood games) because it is considered the “occupation” or “work” of childhood. It is the most natural and beautiful way for learning, development and support and increases engagement and motivation with our young people 🫧 OT s use play, not just because it is fun, but it a powerful tool to work towards those functional goals 🌈

TEAM PLANNING DAY 2026 ✨ after a huge January ALL came together for a beautiful team day full of nature, nurture, laughter, music and collaboration 🫶🏻 a stunning day for a nature walk lead by our ANTS team and introduction to the herd, diving into best practice for supervision and session delivery, reflections and discussion around the NDIS space, music therapy delivered to the (huge) group from our newly qualified Music Therapist, and fun and engaging team connection activities lead by our AHA team ✍️ 🌈 truly a special day to kick off Term 1 ✨

It’s been a stinking hot week over HQ 🥵 our amazing ANTS team and herd are managing best they can with the shade of the beautiful Gum trees, hydration and hoses 💦 in this hot weather please make sure you are practicing sun safety and bringing sufficient hydration to your sessions 💧 and don’t forget to leave out shallow bowls of water for our wildlife 🫶🏻🦎 🐦
