He is passionate about musculoskeletal physiotherapy and eager in solving the clinical puzzle. He enjoys getting to know the what of a condition, as well as the why, in how it occurred. This has moulded his particular interest in dealing with complex neck & back conditions, headache and shoulder pain. Alex is a former rugby player and has worked alongside various sporting teams in rugby, football
and AFL. This included head physio for Eastlake Football Club between, Canberra Grammar School Rugby program, along with local soccer and Aussie Rules football clubs in Geelong. Since working with these teams, Alex has gained much experience in sports physiotherapy with a particular focus on acute muscle strains, knee, shoulder and running injuries. Alex has been treating in the Canberra region for nearly a decade after he completed his studies at the University of Canberra, acquiring both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology and a Masters in Physiotherapy. He is a Canberra local, growing up and studying here in the ACT also currently works as a senior clinical practitioner and educator at the University of Canberra student-led musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic.
