We are excited to welcome Emily Brown as our Director of Clinical Services.
Emily Brown is a Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor with extensive experience in clinical leadership across government, and community mental-health settings.
Emily has worked with rural, regional, and remote communities, delivering and leading services to support hard-to-reach populations and leading teams to deliver accessible, high quality mental health services.
Emily’s work is grounded in evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and a strong commitment to equity, access, and quality in mental-health service delivery.
“I grew up in a small country town in Tasmania, where community was everything – but I also saw how stigma, isolation and limited services could make it harder for people to get the help they needed. Those early experiences shaped my passion for making mental health support more accessible and breaking down the barriers that may stop people from reaching out for help”.
Capability Clinical Services provide clinical services including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), face to face and telehealth counselling, therapeutic needs assessments, carers support and support for care teams in providing trauma informed support. Referrals can be submitted to clinical@capabilitysupport.com.au.
