✨ A note about Best Diets Ever

BestDietsEver began in March 2010, when Adam and I invited friends to join us in a 28-day Green Smoothie Challenge.

We created this page to share support, recipes, and updates, making it easier — and more enjoyable — to incorporate green smoothies into daily life as meal replacements. What started as a small idea quickly grew because doing something challenging is always better when done together.

Within the first week, 46 people joined us.

Four weeks later, another 20 followed.

From there, we ran many more Green Smoothie Challenges, with improvements and spin-offs along the way — helping inspire others to take greater ownership of their health and daily choices.

Today, BestDietsEver has grown to 848 followers, and it continues to reflect the power of consistency, shared experience, and community.

Moving forward, this page will remain as a content and reference space, and will be used for challenge announcements, events, and book launches.

For ongoing updates, education, and day-to-day content, you can now follow along here:

✨ Watch out for our 2026 challenge, which we’ll be announcing shortly.

Happy New Year

The beginning of a new year doesn’t have to be about pressure, resolutions, or changing everything overnight. Sometimes, it’s simply an invitation to pause, reflect, and begin again — gently.

In this live, I’m sharing how herbs can support stress, cortisol balance, and the nervous system in a practical, grounded way. After a challenging year personally, this session is about rebalancing — emotionally, physically, and mentally — using what nature already offers us.

We’ll talk about:
* How stress shows up in the body as cortisol imbalance
* Herbs that grow around us (often as “weeds”) that support the nervous system
* Simple, accessible herbs you can find at home, in markets, or local stores
* How herbs calm stress without suppressing the body
* A gentle cortisol-supporting tea you can make at home

I’ll also be sharing some of the herbal extracts and blends I’m creating for myself and my family, and how you can begin building confidence with herbal remedies in your own home.

This is a calm, educational space — whether you’re new to herbs or already curious about natural ways to support stress and wellbeing.

Herbalism doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with a simple cup of tea and the decision to care for yourself gently.

 Herbalism Course Begins: 17 January

Happy New Year ✨

As we step into this new year, let’s choose to care for ourselves a little more—
stay hydrated, be mindful of what we eat, and nourish our bodies with intention.

Health is not just a personal gift—it’s something we give to our families too.
When we make wiser choices, we show up stronger, clearer, and more present for the people we love.

Here’s to a year of conscious choices, vibrant health, and feeling our best—together 💜🥂

✨ New Year celebrations are meant to be joyful—but mindful too. ✨

Research shows that excessive alcohol consumption can weaken the immune system. Both binge and long-term drinking have been linked to higher risks of respiratory infections, pneumonia, slower wound healing, and increased strain on the body over time.

What about red wine and its antioxidants? 🍷
Red wine contains resveratrol, a powerful polyphenol known to support heart and blood vessel health. However, even with its antioxidant benefits, moderation is key.

Enjoying red wine in small amounts (around 125 ml) can be part of a balanced lifestyle—but drinking beyond that can cancel out its benefits and place extra stress on your immune system.

As we welcome the New Year, let’s choose celebration with intention—supporting our health, energy, and longevity so we can truly enjoy the year ahead. 🥂✨

🎄 Healthy Eating at Christmas is Possible 🎄

Christmas is a time of celebration — gathering with family and friends, sharing beautiful meals, and honoring the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🤍✨

And yes… you can enjoy all of that without compromising your health.
A healthy Christmas meal can still be:
🍽️ Beautifully presented
🔥 Full of flavor
🌿 Nourishing for your body

Simple choices make a big difference:
✔️ Choose baked or grilled dishes like fish or lamb
✔️ Enjoy lighter, nourishing desserts — fruit salads, avocado chocolate mousse, or a wholesome Christmas slice made with cacao, coconut oil, and dried fruits

Food is not just about taste — it’s about how it makes you feel.
A healthier body leads to a happier you, more energy, and more moments to truly enjoy with the people you love.

This season, let your mindset guide your choices.
Celebrate with intention. Eat with joy. And remember — your health matters. 💚
Have a beautiful day and a joyful, healthy Christmas. 🎄✨

Christmas is about celebration — not putting your health on pause. 🎄✨
If your body is already struggling, waiting until after the holidays won’t make it better.

A great Christmas meal can be healthy, delicious, and joyful.
It all starts with mindset, intention, and making choices that support your body — not punish it.

Your health matters.
And the best time to care for it is always now. 💛

Choose wellness. Choose balance. Enjoy the season fully. 🌿✨

Healthy eating often means keeping things simple and going back to basics. 🌿
One of my favorite ways to do this—especially at Christmas—is with grilled meals.

In Australia, Christmas falls in summer, so barbecues are part of the tradition. Families gather at the park or beach, fire up the grill, and enjoy food together in the sunshine. ☀️🥩

Grilled dishes are a fantastic option for a healthy Christmas celebration. From pork, beef, chicken, fish, and prawns to roasted potatoes, carrots, squash, or a fresh salad—there are so many nourishing and delicious combinations to enjoy.

Healthy doesn’t have to be complicated.
Choose foods your family loves, plan ahead, and create a Christmas meal that feels festive, satisfying, and good for your body. 🎄✨
