Bob and Brad are again demonstrating how you can treat a shoulder blade knot ( common problem for most people) using a ball.
I regularly treat clients who present with neck, shoulder & scapula issues.. a common complaint with today's use technology and posture.. always suggest have a treatment by a therapist after they assess your needs and do this against a wall using a ball if knot pain persists.

Here is some information on sciatic pain

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18MtvrRY6B/

1. What It Is

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body, running from the lower spine through the buttocks and down each leg. It controls muscles in the back of the knee and lower leg and provides sensation to the thighs, legs, and feet.

2. Causes of Sciatic Pain (Sciatica)

Herniated or bulging discs pressing on the nerve

Spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal)

Piriformis syndrome (tight or inflamed piriformis muscle)

Degenerative disc disease or arthritis

Trauma or direct injury to the lower back or pelvis

3. Symptoms

Sharp, shooting, or burning pain from the lower back or buttock down the leg

Numbness, tingling, or pins-and-needles sensation

Muscle weakness in the leg or foot

Pain that worsens with sitting, standing, or certain movements

Difficulty walking or controlling the leg in severe cases

4. Treatment & Management

Rest & Activity Modification: Avoid activities that worsen pain

Physical Therapy: Stretching and strengthening lower back, glutes, and hamstrings

Pain Relief: NSAIDs, hot/cold therapy, or prescription meds if needed

Nerve Mobilization Exercises: Gentle movements to reduce nerve irritation

Massage & Myofascial Release: Release tight glute or piriformis muscles

Medical Interventions: Injections (steroids or nerve blocks) or surgery for severe, persistent cases

⚠️ See a Doctor Immediately If:

Sudden severe pain or weakness in legs

Loss of bladder or bowel control

Pain after trauma or fall

Symptoms do not improve with conservative care
