Our Podiatrists:

Kyle Dedini - Principal Podiatrist & Founder

Kyle has worked in NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS, and most recently the ACT. He has previously sat on the Sports Medicine Australia Tasmanian State Board/Council for 3 years, and has received $30,000 worth of scholarships allowing him to further

his education and knowledge base through a large variety of courses. Kyle is a Level 1 Athletics Australia Running Coach and loves treating runners. Outside of podiatry Kyle has a keen interest in all things sport. He has recently stopped playing competitive level sports but during his younger years he played National Premier League (NPL) Division 1 (Soccer) whilst living and working in Hobart and had many years of Australian rules football (finishing up last year with the ANU Griffins). Throughout school he represented NSW at cross country and 800m events, while setting multiple High School records in 800m, 1500, and cross-country distances. However, after multiple broken bones (7), 12 shoulder dislocations, half a fake tooth, and one shoulder reconstruction he now prefers watching local sport from the sideline with a cold beverage, running, skiing, and taking his Kelpie out to kick the footy rather than throwing his body around for more punishment. However, he has recently put the boots back on and currently plays for the ANU Dolphins in Community League soccer. Alex Murray -- Managing Podiatrist & Strength and Conditioning Coach

Originally from Adelaide, Alex completed his high school and undergraduate Podiatry degrees in Melbourne before moving to Canberra to work under 3 x Olympic Medical Team Podiatrist Paul Fleet. During 4 years of mentorship he also completed the Australian Podiatry Association course in Podiatry biomechanics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine through the University of Otago Medical School, which he was awarded with Distinction, the highest honor conferred by the University. After completing his mentorship and further studies, Alex developed a special interest in managing complex and chronic conditions. This led him to studying the fields of neurology, immunology, the science of pain, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. This prompted Alex to create a unique way of practicing that focuses on each patient as an individual and developing a rehabilitation plan based on their goals and current abilities. In addition to his clinical work, Alex is the founder and director of Podiatry Systems, an Australian based Podiatry education company, lectures to national and international audiences and helps create social media education content for the UK-based Better Clinician Project. A previous volleyballer and martial artist, you’ll now find Alex in a gym, out running or in the cheese aisle of his local deli. Emma Readhead -- Senior Podiatrist

Senior podiatrist Emma Readhead has recently joined the team all the way from England and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in diabetic foot assessment, ingrown toenail surgery, wart treatment (including Falknor’s needling method for those stubborn warts that have failed to resolve after previous treatments), manual therapies such as joint and soft tissue mobilisation, rheumatology, high-risk foot care and wound management. Emma was awarded the Dean’s list award for outstanding achievement at The University of Southampton, she graduated with 1st class honours, and is also an affiliated member of the prestigious Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow. With a passion for lifelong learning and holistic approach, Emma offers tailored treatment plans with the aim of optimising the patient experience and outcome. Emma’s special interests are general care, diabetic foot assessments, the high-risk foot and surgical management of warts and ingrown toenails.
