---About Dr. Oli Meredith (PhD, Public Health)---

Dr. Oli Meredith specializes in gentle and restorative yoga to alleviate stress, injury, and chronic conditions. Certified in 2008 by the world-renowned Nicky Knoff—who studied under both B.K.S. Iyengar and Pattabhi Jois—Oli also trained with Judith Hanson Lasater, a pioneer in popularizing Restorative Yoga globally. Iyengar, and their teachings p

rofoundly shape Oli's approach. Since 2009, Oli has also practiced Vipassana Meditation following the guidance of S.N. Goenka and trained in the Maharishi Transcendental Meditation Technique in 2007. Drawing from these transformative experiences, Oli incorporates meditation, visualization, and restorative sequences designed to reduce stress and support the healing process for individuals with chronic illnesses like CFS/ME, Fibromyalgia, MS, cancer, arthritis, high blood pressure, anxiety, adrenal fatigue, and thyroid conditions. Oli also works closely with people with ADHD and autism.

---A Holistic Approach to Healing---

Oli believes that true healing comes from within. Her classes offer a space where individuals can focus on themselves, unlocking their potential for self-healing. There is no "body" that can heal you better than your own. The postures, sequences, and meditations Oli uses are designed to detoxify the body, enhance the lymphatic and immune systems, balance pH levels, and restore nervous system function—all while minimizing stress. Her programs are mindful of energy limitations and aim to condition the body without over-exertion.

---A Personal Journey to Wellness---

Having lived with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia for five years, Oli personally understands the challenges of chronic illness. After her recovery in June 2012, she began teaching and sharing the tools that aided her own healing, including breathing exercises, meditation, and gentle yoga.

---Experience and Offerings---

Oli has a PhD in Public Health from the University of Technology, Sydney, and has taught yoga and mindfulness across the globe, including in Cambodia, Nepal, and Australia. She has led workshops at the Nataraj Yoga Studio, Cambodia’s longest-running yoga studio, and trained General Practitioners and Practice Managers in NSW in stress reduction and self-care practices. In addition to public and private classes, Oli offers workplace programs aimed at increasing happiness and productivity. These workshops can be delivered in person or online via Zoom or Skype, making them accessible to all. Oli also offers healing workshops for people with ADHD.

---Reiki and One-on-One Sessions---

As a Reiki Master, Oli integrates her diverse skills to offer holistic, one-on-one healing sessions, focusing on the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

In Australia we are on the other side of the world to where the Easter pagan Spring celebrations began and you can tell! While everyone talks of Spring, and revving up, my body is feeling something totally different! I can feel my body being called to calm the proverbial farm and to welcome in the slowing pace and rest that is afoot with the delicious, cooler air.

I’m looking for ways to notice and remember to follow nature on this call rather than swimming upstream to keep up with the modern world! Camping with the kids in the garden to celebrate this one…

💐 Ostara 💐

A festival that marks the Spring Equinox, typically falling around March 21st, when day and night are approximately equal in length.
Here are some facts about Ostara:

Historical Significance: Ostara has a long magical history and is celebrated as a time of rebirth and renewal. It’s been observed through various traditions over time.

Rituals and Celebrations: Traditionally, Ostara is a time to mark the coming of spring and the fertility of the land. Rituals often include setting up an altar, performing meditations, and engaging in activities that symbolize new beginnings and growth.

Symbolism: Common symbols associated with Ostara include eggs, rabbits, and flowers, all representing new life and fertility. The holiday is also a time for planting seeds, both literally and metaphorically, to bring about personal growth and new projects2.

Deities: Ostara is associated with various deities related to spring and fertility, such as the Germanic goddess Eostre, who is thought to be connected to the dawn and the resurgence of light after winter.

Ostara is a celebration of balance, where light begins to overcome darkness, symbolizing hope and the promise of brighter days ahead. It’s a time for embracing the energy of the earth’s renewal and the potential for personal transformation. 🌱✨
