Another day in the office 🤝

Tay’s a pro bikini competitor who first came to me back in March for a tune-up before her first show of the season.

She had the usual comp prep issues:

1️⃣ lower back pain from posing
2️⃣ tight hips from all the steps & cardio
3️⃣ general physical fatigue from being deep in prep

Since wrapping up a successful season A, she’s entered a build phase and continues to come in 2–3x a month to stay on top of ni**les (like her textbook shoulder impingement) and make sure recovery keeps up with her 5x/week training 💪

Thought it was time for a quick re-introduction 👋

I’m David, the guy behind OBM Massage. I’ve been in the industry for 7 years now (👴🏻) and have worked for myself for 4 of those years!

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me training, out in nature, playing footy, or painting tiny Warhammer models (it’s very cathartic, ok).

Over the years I’ve worked with everyone from pro teams like the Brumbies, Broncos, Wallaroos, and NSW Women’s Cricket, through to bodybuilding pros, amateur boxers, and even other physios and chiros who trust me with their own treatment.

My mission is pretty simple: to show people how much agency they have over their long-term health and wellbeing, while giving them the relief they need in the short-term.

Before you reach for the yoga mat, consider this: your hip flexors might not be tight—they might just be weak 👀

A lot of people are walking around thinking they need to be more flexible, when what they really need is strength in the right places.

Most exercises don’t target the hip flexors directly, which is why they often get overlooked.
