I am often asked why I named my business Willow Tree Healing, and the following is an explanation on a spiritual understanding of the gracious Willow Tree.
The Willow's limber branches, which can bend and sway in the wind without snapping, make it a symbol of the ability to adjust to life's pressures and hardships.
Willows are known for their ability to be rooted from cuttings, symbolizing the capacity for new beginnings and transformation.
Willows are linked to the lunar realm, suggesting a connection to the cyclical nature of time, change, and the subconscious.
The long lifespan of Willow trees can be interpreted as a symbol of wisdom, reflecting the accumulation of experience and knowledge over time.
The Willow was believed to enhance psychic abilities and to offer deep insights into the workings of the world. It's strength and flexibility were also revered and seen as a metaphor for the path of the spiritual.
I have always been intrigued with Willow Trees....... now I understand why.
