Namaste yoga family! 🙏

It's been a big couple of days here in Rishikesh.

Some or maybe most of you will be aware that The Beatles spent some time in India in the 60s. Well that was right here in Rishikesh, and we spent a beautiful morning strolling through the sun-filled ashram where they stayed with their guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Such a peaceful place where you could feel their energy! It was abandoned about 50 years ago and it's quite beautiful how nature has woven its way back through the buildings.

We also participated in sunset aarti at the nearby Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and spent an overcast afternoon going for a long stroll to shop and meet the locals.

India update for those following along at home!

A question for those of you who have visited this country before - did you also feel like each day was about 70 hours long? Not in a bad way... but my goodness, what happens to time here?!

An early start to take part in a time-honoured Vedic ritual on the banks of the Ganga, a little walking and shopping, meeting lots of locals (human, canine and bovine), my first tuk tuk ride, visiting temples and giving offerings, receiving many blessings, and having a front row seat for the sacred aarti at Triveni Ghat.

I'll post a few videos separately... including one of party time India style! 🤗🥳
