Elite Rehab & Sports Physiotherapy is a clinic located in a brand-new modern facility in King Street Deakin, Canberra. Using experience gained from many years working in elite sport where cutting edge techniques and methods are often developed and expected, we aim to provide the best quality sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation and athletic development management available.The staff at Elite Rehab & Sports Physiotherapy are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals after an injury or illness, whether it be returning to normal activities of daily life or work, right through to the highest levels of competitive sport. We aim to get you back there as fast and successfully as possible. Private and compensable patients are welcome and we have HICAPS available. GYMThe practice has a purpose built gym area for use in rehab and re-conditioning. All the equipment is brand new and has been selected to train a range of functional attributes (strength, power, stability, control and flexibility), including a 25m indoor running track. Our facilities allow progression back to work specific duties (manual handling) with improved physical capacities and reduced injury risks. HYDROTHERAPY Hydrotherapy is conducted at the Kings swimming facilities, located next door to our practice in Deakin. Kings is a new swimming facility with pool depth ranging from 0.9 - 1.5m and water temperature set at 33°. These facilities allow water-based mobility and exercise in a warm impact free environment, which is perfect for lower-level and early-stage rehabilitation. FIELDThe practice is located adjacent to Deakin Oval, allowing outdoor rehabilitation and rehab running. The practice utilises GPS units and field equipment to track running volume, intensity and symmetry between sides.The practice also has seven treatment rooms, and both male and female changing rooms onsite.
