I'm doing pretty well this week, but the steroids I'm on for my broken blood are making me sooooooo hongry! Mama says I have asked her for a treat 357 times already today, and I can't have any more. HURRUMPF!

Time for an update in my sick doggo saga series. Don't worry .. it's mostly good news!

Easter started off kind of bad, cause I hurled up all the (dog-friendly) easter treatos I managed to score from the humans. Ooops! My Mama was very worried and said I had to go to the emergency vet, even tho I said I was fine and asked for another piece of turkey.

Luckily Dr Jacob and the team were really kind and helped a lot. Except for that taking my temp from my butts moment .. SIR! 👀

Anyway, they gave me some meds to help me feel better, and I've been mostly keeping all my treats inside my belleh since. Hooray!

THEN, today I went to Kippax Veterinary Hospital to visit Dr Jemima. I gave her some of my blood, and she gave me treats and snuggles. It was nice! She also looked at my platelets, and she said they're looking pretty fancy again. Woohoo!

So, I have to keep taking my meds like the goodest boy, but things are definitely looking up! I'll just be over here playing with my toys till it's time for another check-up in 2 weeks.

A BIG thanks to all the vets and nurses and clinic staff who are helping me get better. You are all da best.

And a special thanks to my fave Dr Jemima, who really had my fluffy back when I needed her most. We will miss you, but we understand that the cows and horsies need you too. Wishing you all the happies!

I went to visit my fave Dr Jemima today. She took some of my blood, but I got treats, so it was a fair trade. The good news is my meds seem to be working and my platelet count is up. Woohoo!

All of my humans are very relieved and grateful to everyone for taking such good care of me. Back next week for another check. Cross paws for me. Happy Easter everypawdy! 💜🐣🐰

I've had a tough week! First my Mama made me go to the dentist. Rude!

Then, while I was there they stole some of my blood and took photos of my joints. Also Rude!

And then, my very clever vets figured out that there is something wrong with my blood. Oh noes!

My Mama says they think I have something called immune-mediated thrombocytopaenia and It's very lucky they figured it out before I got really sick or had a really bad bleed.

So now I'm home. Phew! I have a bald belleh, and I have to stay inside and keep very safe until my meds work and my blood gets better. Paws crossed!

Me and my humans would all like to thank my vets , especially my fave Dr Jemima and lovely Dr Loreena who are taking such great care of me, and all the nursing and admin staff who made it way less scary. You are all da best. Kthxbai.

Back to basics puzzle time in this house .. barky dogs having a good sniffy challenge! It's amazing how much difference a box, some recycled paper and a few treats,can make.

It was so exciting he had to take his sweater off! 💜

I went to see my friend Dr Jemima today and everyone said I was the very goodest boy. Can report the treats were tasty and I love her quite a bit. 👏 😍

My Mama says my limpies are much better and I'm a much more happy and playful boy, but I must admit I have still been a little bit stiff this week. We think that's because it's been very cold here. Stupid weather!
