VO2 Max testing key performance indicators:

πŸ”Ή VE/VO2 (ventilatory equivalent for oxygen) - measures how much oxygen is being extracted from each breath we take during exercise

πŸ”Ή FEO2% (fractional content of expired oxygen) - it is the percentage of oxygen that is breathed out

πŸ”Ή Understanding these numbers helps shape smarter training, and boost endurance. Data-driven progress is the best kind!

Exercise Right Month May 2025!

Wondering how to add more movement into your daily routine?

The following summary of the article from Exercise Right (Lachlan Simmons) 2025 may just be the resource for you.

Here is how you can incorporate more movement into your daily routine:

1. Instead of hitting snooze on your alarm, try out some glute bridges, pelvic tilts or knee rocks all from the comfort of your own bed.

2. Whilst waiting for the coffee machine or kettle to boil, try completing some countertop pushups, calf raises, bodyweight squats.

3. Park your car further away from work or the shops, opt to take the stairs instead of the lift.

If you would like more information on how an Accredited Exercise Physiology can help build a sustainable exercise routine, book online or call us today!

Exercise Right Month May 2025!
Let's bust a common misconception: I don't have time to exercise so how can I do it? Some physical activity is better than none and a little bit of movement goes a long way!

Helpful tips to reduce this barrier:
1. decrease prolonged bouts of sitting

Start with the following:
1. park your car an extra 5-10 minutes away from work or the shops
2. Break up periods of prolonged sitting, aim to move for 5-10 minutes every 1-2 hours.

All information was adapted from the following Exercise right article:
